I do think the beach strip worked better before the boardwalk was built. But I suppose there are pros and cons for both. I really liked the vibe from 25 years ago.
u also need to review yogis paradise bar n grill... have become good friends with yogi over the years and its %1000 the best place for an ice cold bintang.. yogi and his family are a delight to spend the afternoon/evening with and his sense of humor is fantastic
Iv been to Bali many many times in the last 23 yrs but haven’t been since covid …….. never have a seen kuta beach like this n where has the beach gone? It’s small now
can we request a review of sundays beach club down south... its a private beach area just for venue patrons in a lil alcove down a cliff face... would love to know how its held up with the recent floods and wet season
It all depends on what you are after. I am sure that you have seen it, but just in case - we have a playlist that highlights areas to stay all around the island from quiet and relaxed, to secluded and then outright party.
Natures payback for paradise ruined by greed. Kuta Beach in the early 1980,s what a place that will never be again! doesn't matter how many people profess its still ok to visit its not, those there have already paid for their holiday I can imagine tourism will take areal hit with plenty of Aussie cancelations towards summer.
You got the population of Bali a little bit wrong there.Mate there is four point four million people on bali and the water was bad last week up medewi i got a ear infection
Thanks for that, Ill cut that section out ASAP - Its Denpasar that is 750,000 - what a slip up. Yes, been hanging to go for a surf, but no way, seen too many people fall quite ill.
Come to Kuta he says, Kuta is dead and buried my man, I’m sad to say but Bali has moved on to more exciting places. Was there last in November 24, Legian st is ghostly at night and now paddy’s finally gone too. Few Aussie bogans still hanging on in Legian these days delusional in as much as they think good old days will return somehow, I wish it was true but this part of Bali is gone forever,
Hi. Yes, the crazy party has moved on to Seminyak, Canggu and many beach clubs in Uluwatu. That leaves the opportunity for Kuta to continue to clean itself up, close those old seedy clubs and be more of a place for families to go on a comfortable holiday. Realistically, I am not sure anyone wants it to be as it once was (which was some time ago now).
I'm coming to Kuta soon, thanks for the no b/s advice on swimming and saying it how it is
Glad the videos are helpful - Enjoy your trip!

Yes, Bali is very different now. Check out Lombok, the island next door.

soon Bali. How is the weather? any rain?
The constant rain has passed and the usual wet season, sporadic downpours come and go. Beaches, although still dirty, are becoming less so.

Good vid guys as always very imformative and fun thank you
Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed it.
Spotted you two at Brasserie Republique Sanur a couple of weeks ago
That restaurant is amazing - we love the food and atmosphere there.
Thanks for your Video, I hope that'll change in about 4 months time when I'll be there from May 23.
It’ll be dry season, so should be fine hopefully
Thanks for your video
Thanks for the video. I will return to Kuta next month.
Hope you enjoy your trip!
Miss you❤❤❤
Guys, for Americans coming to Bali for a little stay what places would you recommend staying?

It’s no coincidence that every time it rains heavily the beaches get polluted. If you surf off the coast of Java you don’t see this sort of rubbish.
I won't return to Kuta Beach, too much harrassment from sellers. We are looking forward to a quiet month in Sanur.
We've noticed that too, can't blame you for heading to Sanur.

Wet season is a hard time in Bali. But - Check out some of our videos on the island next door, Lombok, it is like Bali 40 years ago.
The rules always been you sell on the beach you clean the beach but years ago that was a good deal when minimal rubbish
Seems like you both like Bali best hey.
It kind of feels like home now.
Guys, I would not swim ANYWHERE in Bali.
Frankly the whole place just looks really dirty to me, right now.
Bali is a good example of a paradise that has fallen victim to its own success. Such a shame but mass tourism has resulted in ecocide for the island.

stoppping traffic 😂❤
*NEVER GET TEMP TATTOOS IN BALI* ........Do your research why you will regret it! 😳🥺
That beach beach is ruined looks ugly i prefer Sanur over kuta . I prefer the beach and sunbeds in Patong beach. Thailand
Ya know you can t say anything bad 😅
