9 children and we homeschool. Literally every single day is a reset day. Everything is cleaned daily. Vacuum daily, clean floors daily, every surface is wiped down daily, laundry daily, and all of the things. I wipe down the bathrooms every night too. Kids are messy! 🤪

Yesterday - almost had a moment of meltdown when I dropped a glass jar full of honey. Couldn't even vacuum up the pieces - they were all sticky.....all of the sudden - thought of you and your videos and your calmness and that helped me center! I covered the mess in a few paper towels, soaked those paper towels with window cleaner - then was able to get it all up - sacrificing an entire roll of paper towels. I got a little plastic tray with sweeper from the garage - got the rest of the sticky stuff up - then could wash that in the sink. I truly believe watching all your cleaning enabled me to refocus on the cleanup techniques instead of being upset about a silly jar of honey. 🙂
Oh I’m glad you were able to take that breath and get it worked out. I’ve definitely been in those moments. Actually just a few weeks ago one of the kids dropped a jar of red sauce and it splattered everywhere and the glass and I had that same moment of panic
Hi Cambriea, I love the chatty you. It makes me feel like I have a friend right there talking to me. I want to start a cleaning routine, but I still have way too much stuff everywhere, and I can't seem to get started going through it all. I have boxes and totes, and I know I'm an overthinker, and that's a lot of why I haven't started. Plus, I get constantly interrupted with my 3 grandsons I raise. We are about halfway through summer break, and my boys have reading and math (mandatory for school) that we haven't even started on, and it's 10% of their grade when school starts. I'm also taking today to get them all packed for camp (they leave tomorrow morning), so I told them we will go to the library next week and start the reading. I need you to help me with decluttering. Here's my problem::::when I start I have to do this area before that area and it seems like I'm going in circles and that's why there are so many boxes and totes because I shove and pile and so I just don't do it. Should I go through every cabinet, closet, drawers, under sinks, all the places like when moving and completely empty them or say all the areas like all the closets, cabinets etc. I just don't know, and I'm at a huge loss. Also, I have a major back disability so that slows me down a great deal. Your house it so pretty and clean, and mine has always been, but now now since my husband died, I have let it go, and I can't stand it anymore. Yes, the boys help😊. Also, yes, we are very concerned when you climb or over due yourself, and it's because we love you❤. I think the pink will be just fine, and Freya always saying baby sister (I agree with her). Start with one small space at a time. A 3 foot by 3 foot section moving around the room, corner to corner. If it's a closet, you can take each item out and move to the room it belongs in. Or you can empty out the entire closet and only place back in there what stays in there. Items you need to get started... 1. 1 cleanser (Pinsesol becuz bugs hate the smell!!) 2. Few rags 3. Broom, dustpan, vacuum 4. Box(s) for donation 5. Black bags for garbage - no one needs to see it. 6. White garbage bags - laundry 7. Clear bags for ♻️ 8. Clear storage totes for storage, and if you don't have a label maker, write on a piece of paper and tape it to the container. 9. If it's holiday decor, color code totes: Red for Christmas, black for Halloween, etc. If you have stuff in boxes going into a closet, make sure you label what is inside each box.
Also, when moving stuff from one space to another, you don't have to put it away or have a specific space for it yet...wait until you get to that section of yoir house and work on it at that time. Californian here 🙋♀️ I had no idea about this. But I also tried to buy on Amazon to see what it says. It basically says No to intentionally omitting ozone. Also must include a hepa type filter and a whole much more detail. I do know I couldn’t buy a high water pressure shower head on Amazon because we have regulations on water usage too. All these restrictions work though, in making our air safer and saving water when we deal with droughts. So it’s not all bad. We get beautiful weather and beaches and mountains 🙌❤️
My go to cleaning is dishes. I like to have those out of the way cus if they get backed up, it’s such chaos trying to get caught back up on dishes. I love your chatty videos! I listen/watch while I do dishes and tidying up the kitchen. It’s like listening to a friend talk lol.
Cambriea I say save the cash! Baby is not going to know what color that bassinet is & they’re only in it for a very short time. We had used furniture for ours & then when the kid is older buy a nice bedroom set. Worked out well for us. I usually reserve the weekend for fun things with the family, no cleaning or laundry typically on the weekend for me. Although when I was working outside of the home I did have to do those things on the weekends. I like a chatty video, I get bored just watching cleaning. 😂
As far as the bassinet color? Doesn't matter the baby isn't in it that long, and pink is just a color. You can't beat the price as well. Good choice 👌 🙂 I always do a good Saturday cleaning. My Mom did this while I was growing up, so that's the norm for me.
Saturday reset. Work Monday - Friday . Saturday big reset, Sunday rest. Kids are free from school to help on Saturdays. Unless there is a kid function that takes up the whole day then it moves to Sunday.
Yes, Sunday is reset day here. Saturdays are family day. First thing when I wake up is make my bed, then drink my coffee and take my vitamins. Usually the kitchen follows, etc. Washing gets done in between lol. Sunday is also "big cooking" day. Something like a roast, salads, rice, veggies, the whole tooty.

Usually on Saturday and Sunday we are running errands and doing family things so the housework gets neglected. I always put your videos on while I clean. You are so inspiring to watch and listen to. Sunday is the only day my partner doesn’t work, so we do some cleaning tasks together on Sunday. The rest of the week I do a daily reset in the morning before I leave for work.
Happy Friday Cambriea! And happy 25 weeks❤ I too have to change my products. Especially shampoo and conditioner and deodorant. Once or twice a year I change my face routine but not often. I usually change bedding on Sunday or Monday. I mop every day to every other. The one area I neglect, well not neglect but should deep clean more often is our shower. I clean it while I’m in it, it’s clean but to deep clean it’s probably once a month. It’s just my husband and I so it’s not dirty dirty at all. But, we are adopting a puppy soon so that will change. The adoption process is so much like adopting a child! But I’m thankful they are very concerned who adopts those sweet fur babies!! Thank you for always motivating me! I actually just got done redoing an old dresser. It turned out beautiful! I’m so happy! I wasn’t going to finish it today but after watching you I decided to get it done! Our area has a big celebration at City Center for the 4th. Theres a car show, petting zoo, food trucks, band, etc. We usually go for a little bit until it starts to get too busy and then come back to see the huge firework display. I had to change my shampoo and conditioner after moving. We dont have a water filtration system here (its on the list of things we NEED to do 😅) and for whatever reason my scalp no longer liked the old shampoo. I need to tackle some cleaning today so thank you for the motivation!! ❤
I absolutely love the once upon a Child store!!! I have one near my house and I go all the time. It’s nice too because you can declutter your kids’ clothes that don’t fit them anymore and trade them in for credit to use for clothes in the next size up!
We usually stick to the same shampoo and conditioners and body wash ..arm deodorant i switch up the brand but ive been using a spray since high school and im 56..the others always made me itch and left clumps too many times😊
Hi Cambriea, I was painting my front porch well I listened today (tuesday) really like the chang in music 🎶. Sunday is my day off from everything except for feeding the pet's. My go to is late night cleaning and my last room to clean is the kitchen which starts out looking okay but by the time all the other rooms are clean, the kitchen is trashed as that is where everything goes while in the process of cleaning. You’ve got to do whatever works for each person, which you stress yourself over and over and you are so right. Thanks Cambriea!
Just watched the part of the video where you say you like to relax a bit after the kitchen clean and lol, maybe this is why I do the kitchen last cause if I sit I may not want to or be able to get up and do more work and I can’t stand a messy kitchen. See, there is a reason to my madness, lol.
I did my first wm pickup yesterday and it took them forever to bring out to my car 😩 our wm is just kinda always busy and it’s hot so I get it. But yes it was nice to not have to go inside and shop. Other than waiting 55 mins after my app said my order was ready for pickup and getting there it was nice to not go inside, shop, social anxiety/interact with people.
When i was a little girl mondays was waihing day clean beding and the house clean from top to the bottem and my mum had know washing machine . She was up at 6 am ever morring ❤
Sunday is a day of rest, church and family! Most of us work full-time so we have no choice but to clean on Sundays usually on Saturdays I am so exhausted because of a whole week of work, I don’t start cleaning until the evening so everything like laundry and cleaning the floors gets left for Sunday.

I tidy and pick up each day but blitz each room per day so like Mondays bedrooms and bed linen, Tuesday Living room, Wednesday bathrooms and toilets, Thursday hall ways and porches, Friday Kitchen and clean fridge ready for food shop delivery . But generally try to keep on top of daily chores I have an Alexa so as I use things she adds to my shopping list so I don't forget So each day 1 room is completely done
Hi Hon! Yeah Amazon is weird on a few things. Like I looked at some food storage containers, Warring came up. can't sell in CA because it can cause cancer. What! What about the other states? And their are a lot of pieces they sell that say that. For our diabetic friends and me. I tried to get the needles for my pens. Great price. Even if you have a scrip. The note comes up when you try to put in the cart. We can send this product to your home. Like If I live in a drug area. HAHA I think last week they gave the neighbors cat a Jay walking ticket. I think it depends if someone is working out if the house if they reaet on Sunday and if they have small kids who need more attention when they get home if they can do chores in the evening. I am single with no children. I always clean on Friday evenings. Laundry and grocery shopping on Saturday mornings. I then enjoy Saturday afternoons. On Sunday its church and then cooking dinner and relaxing.
I have a 14 year old granddaughter and up until maybe the last year probably 50% of her clothes and shoes came from the once upon a child store near us in Ohio. They grow so fast and my daughter found really nice quality clothing for her. I found a lot of things for my house at garage sales. Most things pretty new. Really enjoyed your music in this video.

Sunday reset - probably stems from the people who work outside the home in demanding Mon-Fri jobs .... Mon-Fri & Saturdays you’re too tired, Sundays you need it to be sorted for the next round of Mon-Fri (unless, like friends of mine, you can afford a cleaner to go in and do your reset for you one day a week ..... ideally Friday before you finish work 🤣) Oh and pink bassinet - who cares about the colour? the baby certainly won’t! I’m also sure if your that bothered you could repaint or dye a different colour?

I personally hate the smell of pinesol .. But, I bought some after watching you, for my deck to deter flies. I always have a bee, hornet, wasp issue too. I actually got them all to leave my patio alone using Mrs Meyers Geranium all purpose cleaner. I’m shocked how good it works. I’ve tried everything and I mean everything!!!
I dont do a sunday reset. Sunday i try to spend with my girls. And relax. I do most deeper clean on mondays. Kinda have been off with out a washer for the last month. A new washer comes tomorrow
One funny story about Walmart delivery - I was thrilled when I discovered they would delivery my four giant bags of birdseed for free! The FedEx person looked a little annoyed when they delivered them - because Walmart put them all in one box! Well - went to reorder - and guess we had found an item that they forgot to mark as not eligible for delivery - because you can no longer get birdseed delivered period!😭😭😭

I have done grocery pick up for a while now and love it so much! However I just learned that they have slightly higher prices online and there is no disclosure about it. I understand charging foe that service but I do not understand secretly changing the prices in the app vs in the store. So now I'm wondering how much extra am I spending using it??

Saturday is my big reset day. Work full time Monday-Friday, and Sunday is my “spiritual reset” & REST day.

Our area has a big celebration at City Center for the 4th. Theres a car show, petting zoo, food trucks, band, etc. We usually go for a little bit until it starts to get too busy and then come back to see the huge firework display.
I had to change my shampoo and conditioner after moving. We dont have a water filtration system here (its on the list of things we NEED to do 😅) and for whatever reason my scalp no longer liked the old shampoo.

I absolutely love the once upon a Child store!!! I have one near my house and I go all the time. It’s nice too because you can declutter your kids’ clothes that don’t fit them anymore and trade them in for credit to use for clothes in the next size up!

I don't have a reset day, but Sundays are never for cleaning. Saturday is laundry day except for bedding. I do that on Mondays.
We usually stick to the same shampoo and conditioners and body wash
..arm deodorant i switch up the brand but ive been using a spray since high school and im 56..the others always made me itch and left clumps too many times😊

Hi Cambriea, I was painting my front porch well I listened today (tuesday) really like the chang in music 🎶. Sunday is my day off from everything except for feeding the pet's. The color of the bassinet would not bother me, you can alway put a sheet over it or spray paint it white. I enjoy hearing you talking about things.

My go to is late night cleaning and my last room to clean is the kitchen which starts out looking okay but by the time all the other rooms are clean, the kitchen is trashed as that is where everything goes while in the process of cleaning. You’ve got to do whatever works for each person, which you stress yourself over and over and you are so right. Thanks Cambriea!
Just watched the part of the video where you say you like to relax a bit after the kitchen clean and lol, maybe this is why I do the kitchen last cause if I sit I may not want to or be able to get up and do more work and I can’t stand a messy kitchen. See, there is a reason to my madness, lol.

My reset days are Monday and Tuesday. Bedding changed and laundry on Mondays and deeper house cleans on Tuesday.

I did my first wm pickup yesterday and it took them forever to bring out to my car 😩 our wm is just kinda always busy and it’s hot so I get it. But yes it was nice to not have to go inside and shop. Other than waiting 55 mins after my app said my order was ready for pickup and getting there it was nice to not go inside, shop, social anxiety/interact with people.
When i was a little girl mondays was waihing day clean beding and the house clean from top to the bottem and my mum had know washing machine . She was up at 6 am ever morring ❤

Sunday is a day of rest, church and family! Hey Cambria! I used to do Sunday when I worked. Now i can stay home i do the same as you, Monday (clean up after everyones been home for the weekend) and Friday so it is clean and easier to relax on the weekend with the family. Happy 25 weeks ❤

Most of us work full-time so we have no choice but to clean on Sundays usually on Saturdays I am so exhausted because of a whole week of work, I don’t start cleaning until the evening so everything like laundry and cleaning the floors gets left for Sunday.

I tidy and pick up each day but blitz each room per day so like Mondays bedrooms and bed linen, Tuesday Living room, Wednesday bathrooms and toilets, Thursday hall ways and porches, Friday Kitchen and clean fridge ready for food shop delivery
. But generally try to keep on top of daily chores I have an Alexa so as I use things she adds to my shopping list so I don't forget So each day 1 room is completely done
Hi Hon! Yeah Amazon is weird on a few things. Like I looked at some food storage containers, Warring came up. can't sell in CA because it can cause cancer. What! What about the other states? And their are a lot of pieces they sell that say that. For our diabetic friends and me. I tried to get the needles for my pens. Great price. Even if you have a scrip. The note comes up when you try to put in the cart. We can send this product to your home. Like If I live in a drug area. HAHA I think last week they gave the neighbors cat a Jay walking ticket. I think it depends if someone is working out if the house if they reaet on Sunday and if they have small kids who need more attention when they get home if they can do chores in the evening. I am single with no children. I always clean on Friday evenings. Laundry and grocery shopping on Saturday mornings. I then enjoy Saturday afternoons. On Sunday its church and then cooking dinner and relaxing.

I have a 14 year old granddaughter and up until maybe the last year probably 50% of her clothes and shoes came from the once upon a child store near us in Ohio. They grow so fast and my daughter found really nice quality clothing for her. I found a lot of things for my house at garage sales. Most things pretty new. Really enjoyed your music in this video.

Sunday reset - probably stems from the people who work outside the home in demanding Mon-Fri jobs .... Mon-Fri & Saturdays you’re too tired, Sundays you need it to be sorted for the next round of Mon-Fri (unless, like friends of mine, you can afford a cleaner to go in and do your reset for you one day a week ..... ideally Friday before you finish work 🤣)
Oh and pink bassinet - who cares about the colour? the baby certainly won’t! I’m also sure if your that bothered you could repaint or dye a different colour?

I always have a bee, hornet, wasp issue too. I actually got them all to leave my patio alone using Mrs Meyers Geranium all purpose cleaner. I’m shocked how good it works. I’ve tried everything and I mean everything!!!

I dont do a sunday reset. Sunday i try to spend with my girls. And relax. I do most deeper clean on mondays. Kinda have been off with out a washer for the last month. A new washer comes tomorrow

One funny story about Walmart delivery - I was thrilled when I discovered they would delivery my four giant bags of birdseed for free! The FedEx person looked a little annoyed when they delivered them - because Walmart put them all in one box! Well - went to reorder - and guess we had found an item that they forgot to mark as not eligible for delivery - because you can no longer get birdseed delivered period!😭😭😭

I have done grocery pick up for a while now and love it so much! However I just learned that they have slightly higher prices online and there is no disclosure about it. I understand charging foe that service but I do not understand secretly changing the prices in the app vs in the store. So now I'm wondering how much extra am I spending using it??

I tried at adding the tide to my mop water. It’s not a smart thing to do when you have ceramic tile because it makes the floor as slippery as glass.
