I wish Sam knew how great a job he's doing as Lestat. In one of the interviews he said he wanted to retake the last episode where his voice breaks and he asks "Did you hurt yourself?" I couldn't believe it, I mean, I was in my chair balling my eyes out at THAT line delivery, how does he not see how great that take was?! I'm glad Rollins kept it in, that was an excellent choice on his part. Everyone in this show deserves an Emmy. All the actors are really great.
I was balling my eyes out at that whole scene with Lestat and Louis! It was just such an emotional and completely vulnerable moment between the two. The words spoken.. The emotions..
Delainey did such an awesome performance in SE2. That young lady has some serious talent,& I’m astounded at the depth,& passion she gave to Claudia’ character!

I really liked Assad's metaphor about Armand and Sam's funny addition at the end 😂 Also, very lovely how Delaney was treated since the beginning, very heartwarming to know that Jacob was giving her life lessons and being silly at the same time 😂 And Assad with the "no spoilers" hand on Rolin's shoulder 😂😂😂 I'm very fond of these team, they are amazing
Sam’s performance as Lestat is exquisite! Way better than we could’ve hoped for! I’m obsessed! Just Brilliant! If he doesn’t win an award for this role, it would be a travesty!!!
We used to call the Anne Rice characters “the ambiguously bisexual vampires”, because it was only ever hinted at in the books and smothered in artistic poetry of platonic affection. Her easy-out was the fact that her vampires can’t have sex or even feel lust. The only way they can connect intimately is by drinking each other’s blood, and really they’ll do that with anyone. Another vampire’s blood can literally be medicine to one who’s hurt, so not even that can be symbolic of sex.

Rolin Jones took Anne Rice’s debut novel…a novel that set the stage for modern vampire fiction…and turned it into a mesmerizing and spectacular television series that was more faithful to the book (even with creative risks and deviations) than the 1994 film adaptation could ever be. 🔥 Hate it or love it, the show was acclaimed. Warner Bros could have had a hit vampire franchise before Summit Entertainments Twilight had they allocated a proper team of writers and producers back in the 90s.
Honestly the actors blow me away with their skill and I hope they make all of the vampire chronicles books as there's 13 I couldn't think of anyone better to play the main characters and look forward to seeing the show the vampire Lestat in later times The one thing that baffles me though is now Sam reid and Jacob Anderson put on the voices/ accents

But we know fandom are racist and only acknowledge the white actors. So I am here to say that ASSAD and Delainey did a wonderfully beautiful job at portraying characters that I love to read. I still think Sam is a HORRIBLE version of Lestat!
Assad made IWTV season two, he was gorgeous and made Armand real. And I miss Jacob, the interview is so boring without him, and it is ashamed he isnt in these interviews and we never get a channce to see Assad and him talking about that epic scene! And, not surprise people don't mention his absent, if it was the other way around, people will ONLY acknowledge Sam's absent.
I am still hating on Sam's version of my Lestat, he didn't do justice for my brat Prince. I personally think people just like him because he is the ONLY white actor, and or they HATE Tom Cruise, which I believe, and Anne Rice had said, was Lestat, he embodied him.
