If you don't mind staying in a hotel with no amenities (swimming pool) while in Boracay, then Fat Jimmy's Resort is a choice. Location is very convenient as it is walking distance to the mall and many restaurants.
The rooms are inexpensive yet comfortable. The hotel offers breakfast but you can also cook inside the room.
I paid 1700 for this room and their rates are inexpensive even during holidays like Holy Week.
