The Kinks Something Else You have a 3RD pressing of it The 1ST pressing was Pink Gold and Green The 2ND pressing has 2 tone orange with the W7 Logo with the river boat Also you have a 1ST pressing of Lola VS Powerman And The Moneyground it has the blue writing on the white jacket 1970 The 2ND pressing has black writing on the white jacket 1971 I have been a record collector for 51 years if I can help you out with anything I will do my best for you

Nice Kinks pickups. The Village Green boxset was one of my fav releases from last year, its also my fav. Kinks record.
Killer Kinks haul Dillon. Just picked up Something Else in a haul I havent shown yet, but you scored the motherlode there with them. And that banjo, very cool find. Get that all fixed up and I am sure you will have great evenings sitting around picking a tune or two. Take care!

I got all of my Kinks records for free for looking through a friend’s garage to tell her whether or not anything she had was worth selling. Many of them I haven’t seen since. Like you said..not that common around our neck of the woods. Dude...that banjo!!! Sick!!!

KINKS! So, when I first started buying records online, The Kinks’ early LPs were my first go-to’s because (like you said) not common around here. So, all of my Kinks records were bought online anywhere from 8-16 years ago. Except two... Everybody’s In Showbiz is new material on first LP, and live album on the 2nd. I think that’s one of the more underrated Kinks albums. Muswell Hillbillies, too. It’s fantastic! Your reaction to Schoolboys In Disgrace was classic. I once heard Bobcat Goldthwait say that Schoolboys In Disgrace was the most underrated Kinks album and one of his favorites. So, take that however you want.
Great finds especially the Kinks ! Having seen them perform in the mid 70's, I thought they were even better live than on record. If you get a chance check out Grand Hotel by Procol Harum. I feel that is under rated. Keep getting those great finds and putting out interesting videos.
I used to see Preservation Act II all the time. Not anymore. I'm jealous of the Village Green find. I may pick up a reissue today.
