That's the problem with french (speaking). They want to do everything in their own language. When you go just over the border in Flanders you find they can speak french beside dutch but when you go just over the border in Wallonia they only speak french.

Because the old name is ypres now its Ieper

Ypres is french for Yper in regional language or Ieper in Dutch
