This defense is the key for them, although they are scary on de offensive end, this team is monster when they DONT have the ball and that is a problem, up till this game they kinda been slacking in these finals except for a brief moments, but this game showed their true potential. and not just for a season, but for a couple of seasons if they play their cards right

I've been a warriors fan my entire life, but I'm also just a basketball fan in general. This is the most competitive and physical finals weve had in the last couple years. I love seeing a young Tatum really come into his own, and obviously he worked with Kobe earlier in his career, and he does kind of remind me of a young kobe. Steph is playing outstanding for the most part, besides second half of game 1. This might just go back and forth the entire series because both teams are just amazing after a loss. Also it sickens me to see fans cheering when people are injured. As a sports fan, you never want to see or with anyone to be injured, that's just weak af.
Heat Lakers was more physical. Hell Heat Celtics ECF this year was twice as physical, but I get what your saying. Your warriors need to be even more physical in the paint next game if they want to win

I agree with you 99%. The only exception to the "don't ever cheer an injury" is the KD incident a few years back. I was one of the most enthusiastic GSW fans back then until they signed KD and made the whole NBA season a bore.
I even stopped watching it, until I've heard KD got injured and my first reaction was: "Thank the GODs of Bball"
I don't feel bad one bit. It is not as if he lost any money over it. Or as if the guy was blinded or something.
It is just a sports injury.
But served for the NBA to go back to some sort of decency in therms of the balance of power.

With injuries you can never be sure. Looking back on it now it's fine... But in that moment I felt sad because no one knew if it was career ending or not. I never want too see anybody sad and unhappy specially those that dedicate there life to the game we love and enjoy.

@@memmener would not say the whole series but they definitely desrved to win and were better in most of the games, maybe even 4:1 since the first game was more of a lucky 4th quarter win for Boston. but still not for the whole series and defnitely not on the defence because Bostonhad some mad plays and solid d (as solid as it can be against someone like Steph as you cant really stop players like him)

This Celtics game was the reason Boston needed to come out of the East. They have the personnel. The matchup favours them apart from the fact Golden State are really talented
Other than the Bucks, the Warriors would have swept everybody else in the east. This had to be the matchup to have a competitive finals.

Both teams went to the finals and there's no such thing as wanted more to win, both teams wanted to win 100%, it's just how they executed the play and the better defensive team and also luck has to do something with it, not wanted it more.

Dont get me wrong, he is one of those players that cant be locked, but you can make them get 20-25 instead of 40, with a lot less assits than usually. and that is good enough, and what they are doing to him quite well, not perfectly but with the rest of the team choking this badly it is more than enough

The Celtics really adjusted well defending GSW's PNR play which was the key for the Warriors last Game 2. And kudos to paint protection and perimeter defense by the C's. With their good offensive run on the other side. Congratulations for the big W!

GSW have enjoyed an easy ride until now. Celtics had to beat 2 tough teams to get here. That's a huge advantage for Celtics. Their readiness levels for Finals is much higher.

I’m a Lakers guy and can say objectively what a bunch are saying here… barring injury… Celtics should win this series. on another note Lebron will never win another ring if he stays in the West (unless he goes to the Griz, GSW were fortunate Moran got hurt)
Except for the Griz inexperience, they would have been a more interesting matchup versus Boston talent wise

it depends if the warriors win 1 then the celtics win the next one i think its more favoured towards the warriors heres my theory, if the score was 3-2 celtics way game 6 klay will be activated which will be a 50-50 depending on the celtics players egos and game, if they lose then hands down warriors win due to the fact that NOT ONE TEAM or at least from my memory CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG has lost a game 6 while being up 3-2 and winning the series whoever wins game 6 ALWAYS win the series whiel up 3-2

Everyone talks about the warrior's 3rd quarter scoring but forget about celtics' 4th quarter defence. If Smart can work on his turnovers whilst donkey keeps running his mouth then this series is a wrap, celtics too big and too athletic.

I'm not a fan of either team and I have to say the Warriors got the shorter end of the stick with the calls this game. It was not that egregious, but I think some of those calls impacted the flow of the game, especially when the Warriors were making runs. I wish Boston won in an even more convincing fashion so I could just say they completely outplayed the Warriors but it didn't really look that way.
@@brunopuizina7169 warriors were down 18, came back to lead by 1 in the 3rd. Then the refs just disrupted their flows completley. Curry couldnt play aggressive due to his 4 fouls as well
