F1 23 wasn't too bad either. The first one I played was 2020 though. Plus F1 2021 had the Braking Point story while 23 had Braking Point 2. They're pretty short but the story in those games were decent.
2019 is the best one with the best A.I., aggressive and competitive. After 2019, Codemasters turned down aggressiveness and compensated with making them faster, and now they're still aggressive but are now overpowered and impossible to race against (especially in qualifying and race starts)

2020 has the best driving of any F1 game ever. I really only have one single complaint about the game. Driver transfers are not frequent enough in career mode. Wish more transfers happened
