What is the measurement between the lines in receiver unit

The unit consists of Transmitter unit and Reflector unit, the transmitter will emit laser line that projected onto reflector unit which is having a target area with central refence line.
The laser line reflected back to transmitter unit for reading on the second target reference line.
Miss-alignment correction done by adjusting moveable part (El motor)until laser lines coincide with reference line on transmitter and reflector units.
