      Hi.. I'm not sure about it, but I'll let you know when I have these Information. Generally, these sensor being used in Wartsila DFDE.. but since I don't have manual for the engine type u've mention .. I couldn't give U the answer..

      The unit consists of Transmitter unit and Reflector unit, the transmitter will emit laser line that projected onto reflector unit which is having a target area with central refence line. The laser line reflected back to transmitter unit for reading on the second target reference line. Miss-alignment correction done by adjusting moveable part (El motor)until laser lines coincide with reference line on transmitter and reflector units.

    Sorry to say that but your calculation sheet for undivided drum 2-3rd layers are not correct.

      Thanks for your feedback and find some miss-calculation.. my calculation for 2nd, 3rd layer based on radius of drum + radius of mooring line stacked in the same order. So that when 2 lines stacked, meaning that radius of lines is on the half of second layer + diameter of first layer or in formula is 3d/2 and not 2d/2. Same as when using 3 layers meaning radius is 2.5 of line diameter. Or, in actual the mooring line when it is stacked the mooring lines diameternya will not same as actual specification of the mooring. It Will flattened except when using wire as mooring.. Also, in my closing statement I have mention that [qtd "Undivided mooring winches become bit more difficult and it is recommended that the manufactures to be consulted in terms of how many line layers should be used in calculation "unqtd]

    If the distance between sensors and transmitters are too far, can you still search channels and find nodes?

      When the distance is to far.. the transmitter unable to detect signal.. that's why on the monitor the status is showing notification "No signal from sensor" state "Searching for sensor".. When the sensor and transmiter is in range the notification status is " Channel running and signal valid" and state "Running OK" The distance of transmiter affecting signal strength % received by transmiter.

      Sí, es correcto, es muy útil cuando se utiliza para alineación horizontal. Preferiría utilizar un comparador con base magnética para realizar la alineación vertical. De todos, modos gracias por tus comentarios

      The issues is still remain the same.. Although, update has been carried out. Also, battery life is another issue. It is necessary to purchase spare batteries and cables for replacing blue tooth device for better onnection. Do you have any other advise for the issues.

      Hi... Thanks.. The explanation is for common convensional diesel engine. Principally is the same, for DFDE (Wartsila) during gas burning, the gas mixed with fresh air under intake mode and by the assistance of pilot fuel the Mixture of gas is ignited during compression process.

      Hi Haddou, depending to the contactor used, there are so many types of contactor. If you mean, the ordinary contactor compared with VD4 (Vacuum or Air Circuit Breaker). For ordinary contactor mostly used for low voltage, meanwhile for Vacuum or Air Circuit Breaker used for medium and high voltage. Because of the arc (spark) generated during contactor touching each other or during pulled apart, in low voltage the arc (spark) is not as much as medium or high voltage. The Vacuum Circuit Breaker able to extinguish the arc in shortest time, compared with Air Circuit Breaker or ordinary breaker.

      Hi Good day too, sorry for belated to response to your comments. For alignment of flexible coupling for DFDE actually it is almost same with other machineries alignment. For marine DFDE it is necessary that the vessel afloat, it is to make correct alignment, due to vessel weight is distributed evently during afloat. Also, additionally to check No.1 Crank Shaft Deflection. It can be using laser alignment or micrometer dial gauge with using a minimum of 2 measurement points, take readings to understand the angular and parallel (offset) misalignment. Make minor adjustments to correct the offsets. Depending on the RPM of the equipment, the acceptable alignment tolerance will vary, please check the instruction manual. For periodical maintenance of flexible coupling on wartsila (propulsion engine) it is to be done about 4000 RH it is only checking the alignment, when any adjustment required should be consulted with maker. Anyway, I will make a video about laser alignment for vertical installation machinery in future. Please watch my video regarding V-belt alignment (horizontal installation fan & motor)

    Nice video sir can you please explain how fsru operates I mean are they permanently moored or they go on voyage also?

      Mostly, FSRU is permanently moored to the Gas Offloading Platform, Tower Yoke Mooring, Single Buoy Mooring or terminal , depend into it's contract. Mostly FSRU having long years contract with buyer, due to for mooring and unmooring of FSRU is costly. But, previously I heard that there is FSRU in Turkey which also go on voyage.
