The more fuel I use before filling up, the more accurate the vehicle estimate seems to be. But its always an optimistic estimate from the Kia 😊. Usually after 500+ miles per tank, both of my Kias are only 1-2 mpg over paper calculations.
Can't really go by the fuel gauge... Ive put 400miles on the first half and ended up with 535 when the light came on... same with the fuel tank fill up... best to start at empty, fill it, then keep track of your miles and gallons for a month or so for an average... that said I typically get 40-45 indicated on the better frequent trips with my worst frequent trip getting 32 indicated
I did these calculations over full tanks on my Forte for 45k miles. I noticed that the smaller your driving distance is when performing the real world calculation, the more inaccurate the digital MPG will seem. If you do the calculation over full tanks, digital display becomes within 4-7% difference of each real world on average.
A bit surprised at the difference between the car’s calculation and my calculation. I’ve tested a lot of cars and there is usually some difference between the two, but this a bigger difference than I normally see

Wow. Crazy. @OP what was your instant reaction of the result?

@@CarDietrich I see. Would you be very disappointed if you actually own the car? I know I would for myself

If I can get my hands on one I will!
