While new dolls are still in the making, I finally finished this one massive side project!
It's a resin figurine of Diablo III Barbarian girl that I printed and painted.
It was just my second time doing this and this figurine is massive! So many elements! I definitely bit more than I could chew with this one...
It took me 7 months, but she is finally finished!
A little different than what I usually show you, but I still hope that you will enjoy the process :)

Marzena, you continue to blow my mind. I know those feelings of frustration and the urge to surrender too well. To see how Leona wouldn't let you quit, and to see you continue to fight through the challenging parts was an inspiration for how friends and communities should be. All of that fury was hard-earned and well spent. You did an astounding job of bringing Barb to life.

Yeah... I have the hands of a blacksmith, but usually I do wear gloves when touching resin.
I was raised in a household with a Mistress of Spoilers - aka my mom, so I know how annoying they can be :P
@@CatmeleonStudio i just got worried when you were talking about how it was much easier to remove the supports before the final curing and you didn't have gloves on 😰 take care of yourself and your blacksmith hands always!

We are kinda blessed with them :) They are wondering through our bookshelf a lot, but they never knocks anything down. I only needed to evacuate one figurine (the Frog Fairy) cause they were eating the fake grass XD

It took me far too long to recognise the background music! 😛
It ended up a bit too quite I guess... From the file on my computer it was somehow louder, but after uploading to yt it somehow changed a bit... There's also a difference between the volume of the music through the speakers and through the headphones... Well, I guess better too quite than too laud :)

one print tip ive found with resin prints is you can change the contact shape of the piece that goes from the truss to the part, you can shrink it down so its like a fine little fiber, use no "contact shape" at all and use a high-ish density, the parts peel away from the support structure almost like velco, its cool.

Hot water post-wash and pre-cure. Fresh out of a boiled kettle (don’t use your tea kettle, get a dedicated one) dip your models in and swish around for a few seconds, your supports will pop right off.
That was beautiful . I,ve been resin 3d printing for 4 years. My printer is the new peopoly forge for large scale sculptures. I love it. Your work is very good and will only get better with practice. Every one makes mistakes that's how you grow and get better. Keep on creating........
What do you do with all the plastic that you can't use? Can't you RE-melt it and use it again? Yer painting skills are amazing. I don't what what mistakes you're talking about, I thought you did amazing, but if you do mess up, it is a lesson learned for next time, cause that's how we / you grow in yer skills. I didn't know your work. I discovered your channel with this video. You don't have anything to envy from other people who paint figurines for longer. I painted many figurines, long long time ago, and I never reached this level.

Wow! This turned out amazing! It looks straight out of the game! It definitely would have taken me longer to do this. Though i don't have the painting skills like you. I'm just figuring it out. I've only painted large things like cars and signs for my old job. Great work!

I watch Robert Tolone, he usually does silicone moulds but has now started resin printing and he uses a free resin slicer program that works out all the supports for you. It also hollows prints as well. Edit*I'm such a pillock, sorry. She's amazing and you should definitely widen your horizons. Spread your talent*
You did really well... I am not much of a Diablo player, I used to be, but kinda grew out of it. This is a fantastic model regardless, well done!

Great work! Make sure you use a mask, and have good ventilation when you use your rotarty tool on a resin figurine. Because resin dust is like superbad for you, if you inhale it. Could die type of bad.
You are immensely talented how do you just go from doll customization to model painting and make it look this good?!? This is so cool!
I highly recommend calibrating your resin printer with the cubes of calibration and watching recent videos by tableflip foundry on the subject. The reason I suggest this is that your exposure setting is too high. That is why the parts are not fitting together properly.
Diablo 1 to 2 music playing in the background lol.
Some ppl wash the pieces they just printed before curing them. Apparently the print will and can hold up with a light washing (to get rid of the supports)
This looks great I'm not a big fan of the Diablo games but I think barb looks amazing regardless!
never be afraid of mistakes we all make them, its the mistakes that we learn from and not when things go smooth. and as long as you are happy with the end result it´s all good, we all start as beginners at things and when not knowing its better to ask someone who knows (like you did) or find out how to do it by either google, youtube etc.
reall nice paintjob there and have to say that the result of how you painted her face came out 1000% better then i can produce. so gg there

If supports is hard remove add warm water keep them 30 sec i then can so easy remove ^^ . I see this tip and is fantastic.

I love that you’ve been calling her Barb, but the Barbie movie is coming out on Friday and every time you called her “Barb” I envisioned her as Barbie who took a very dark and less pink path 😂
