Always a pleasure to watch Tamiya RC tanks in motion. They are marvels of model engineering and scale realism.

Greetings from Germany! That's a beautiful model you have made! I enjoyed watching it in your video! I have a modified full options Heng Long Leo 2 A6 made out of metal. I added the abitlity to turn the turret 360 degrees and put small bits of a camouflage-net on the turret and gun. Smoke, 6mm shooting ability and sound are unchanged though... No need to change anything in my opinion! I enjoy driving it through my garden very much. I wish you all the best and have fun!

thank you. I'm glad you're having a good time with your RC tank, thinking of a nicely upgraded reopard tank.

I think you may either want to add some small magnets or patches of Velcro to the side armor to keep them in place.
Oddly enough them coming loose like that was never something I had to deal with...
Maybe also have a look at the SGS-Electronic.de TVC-GSU-11 I'm using in mine: ruclips.net/video/78S_lE0B4Gc/видео.html

Hi, im from VietNam. Xe tăng này là phiên bản rẻ nhất đúng không ???

This tank is a tamiya product. In addition to Tamiya, RC leopard tank products are known to have Henglong and Taigen companies, but I have not purchased them yet. Tamiya products are a bit expensive.

is it possible to drive it very slow?
I'm a real former Leo 2 driver in the swiss military and I would like to have one for the good old times but sometimes I also want to drive a scene.
And for that I need to drive slow like in real. can he do that or is just like in your video.
    pang and forward?

very grad to meet you, a real Leo2 driver. i also served in a tank division but not a driver. surely you can drive as a real one. with high power motor, good suspention and durable track, it can do rapid accerlation and very slow moving presenting morden tank feature. tamiya leo's lower hull and suspention arms are slightly not strong, you could happen to meet borken ones and need to prepare some spare parts after rough terrain moving. anyway it might gurantee a real movilty. thanks.

Greetings from Switzerland - Basel 🙃
Slow driving isn't a problem with a Tamiya Tank - Here's a video of mine scooting in the house ruclips.net/video/CqBib56uIUo/видео.html ( 3rd Party upgraded to the 2A7+ Variant ).
I also happen to have a bit of documentation on what has changed from the stock build on an Imgur Album: imgur.com/a/GzLRqvl
*Critical Advice* - Despite its age, the Tamiya #56020 Leopard 2A6 has probably the most 3rd Party Upgrade Possibilities available of any Tamiya RC Tank out there but of all of them the only one you absolutely _need_ are the metal swing arms unless you're planning to drive it only on the carpet but even then I'd recommend them since the model isn't going to get younger and if the aftermarket stops selling them it'd be a shame when one of them breaks ( and they will! ) down the road.
Also do NOT buy the Tamiya #53762 Gun Barrel Stabilizer Unit - That thing is useless - If you want such a feature do get the 2-Axis Stabilizer sold by SGS-Electronics.de: ruclips.net/video/78S_lE0B4Gc/видео.html ( careful though! They sell two variants with one specific for the Tamiya DMD-T07 Control Unit! )
If this is going to be your ONLY RC model or you're ONLY ever planning to buy Tamiya RC Models ( Tanks and Trucks in particular ) and leaving them with the stock electronics then I'd recommend to invest into the Tamiya #45068 Finespec 2.4GHz Remote which comes with predefined profiles for the Tanks and Trucks and the ability to trigger the secondary functions via a simple button press as opposed to a mindboggling Stick/Trimmer Combo move ala 🔼🔼🔽🔽◀▶◀▶🔴🟢
If you plan to add 3rd Party Electronics to the Models, like I did with a 2-Axis Stabilizer or the FLW-200 Remote Weapon Station, requiring additional Channels, not be supported by the Tamiya Tx due to the lack of additional available Channels then I'd suggest buying into ANY OpenTX capable Remote out there - I'm using a FrSky Horus X12S which is expensive AF but you could easily go with a Team Blacksheep produced Tango 2 ( developed in Switzerland ) as they're VERY potent in their programming capabilities necessary for Tamiya Models to run properly. Technically I'd recommend the OpenTX Remotes over the Tamiya one regardless of how many or whichever model you're planning to go with, but they also require some more learning... sooo... Yea - Take your pick between those two options but don't buy anything else or you'll be running into trouble.
Bonus: With access to a 3D Printer ( for a neat look shpws.me/H2Lf ) you could even FPV ( Camera, FPV Goggles & Headphones ) your Leopard and relive the old days from within ruclips.net/video/t7MH2EGZBxI/видео.html ;)
