Yes. Just yes. Everything about him. That's a football coach right there. It's good to have a guy with legit head coaching experience who can take complete control of his side of the ball and handle it
Worked 48 yrs for all types of supervisors - leaders. This dude right here, gruff voice and all, is the kind of leader I could relate to. Knows his shit, straight up, no bullshit, fun to work with & for. Wow, it's been A-while since we've had that. GBR
This is going to be what Matt Rhule dreamed of. I am more excited now than when Matt was hired. The only slot left to fill will be our defense. I sense another Scarlet and Cream dynasty!
We’re going have a really good offense and poor defense we eighther have real good offense and or really good defense never both the future coach if be right here
No I hope he game plans for what the opposing defense is weak in and punishes their weaknesses. If you're 1 dimensional you're a low ceiling team in this day and age
@edbetsworth2772 he just said his offense has changed quite a bit since he did the air raid. Some years/games he's ran way more than he's thrown. Imagine saying this after our run game significantly improved after he showed up too. How dense are you?
@@edbetsworth2772 Dana is not a true air raid guy. He molds his offense to the players he has. He's has offences that have averaged over 200 rush yards per-game
Get ready for a bastardized version of the air raid offense. It will be good for about 2-3 years, and then the competition will adapt to it and shut it down. (What exactly happened at WV and Houston, when he was the coach). It also depends on if Nebraska can recruit players to run it successfully. Otherwise, the offense will struggle.
Can’t compare Dana’s offenses as an OC vs as a HC even if he’s “calling plays”, it’s not the same thing. Scott Frost was an elite play caller as an OC and scripted great first drives for us as a HC, but it tailed off after that. Dana’s a smart guy, he will adapt to what’s needed

Yes.
Yep, well said!
I'm so glad Dana said yes!
I see way more points being scored next season.
This guy just exudes confidence and experience. Excited to see where he takes our offense.

I love Dana but its time to let the top go og 😂
A coach that don't like losing and actually want to win
We’re going have a really good offense and poor defense we eighther have real good offense and or really good defense never both
Can we ask him how many yards per play an offense should make?
All of them
We’re going have a really good offense and poor defense we eighther have real good offense and or really good defense never both the future coach if be right here
What a get. Hopefully he retires here.
I hope he runs the ball Nebraska football .GBR

@@blackshirts848Exactly! 💯
Nope, he will throw the ball every chance he gets. He’s a disciple of Hal Mumme’s Air Raid offense.
