I will always encourage people to walk away for a bit and relax. Then come back and resolve the problem maturely. I do feel that when people are angry, a lot of what they say is things they have censored or hidden. Hence why what they say in anger is so hurtful because it can come from a place of truth.
Agreed! I'm all about take break, check in to see you're sleepy or hungry, and then proceed. I have found the more instantly confusing an argument is, the more common it is that it has nothing to do with what you're actually arguing about lol

Yep. Dealing with this in my marriage now. Ive told him how it feels when he walks away and never addresses the fight, ever again, and I am the one who ends up apologizing just so there can be some sort of resolution. It sucks.

I would always want to have some time and space. I never wanted to say anything out of anger he did not deserve or I did not want to say something exaggerated that I didn't really mean when I was angry. I believe the old truth that "Angry people are liars" and I just wanted to be super clean and respectful in resolving differences. My husband didn't understand that at first but I finally was able to explain. I needed to clam down and really look at what was valid and not valid. Until I matured more emotionally, this was necessary for me.

I think it's really important to have a plan when it comes to fighting, speak to your partner and come to an agreement on what you do when an argument starts. Do you need space before you can resolve it? Are there any techniques you can use to defuse things that work for both of you? Talk all of it out beforehand so when that time comes you have a plan to resolve things and avoid unnecessary stress and damage to the relationship.

I'm currently mad at my girlfriend. See, we've had arguments so many times, and so far, it's always been my fault. I was always the one who was wrong and had to apologize. The one who had to redeem themself. And I have no problem with owning my mistakes. It's just, I'm tired of being _that guy._ Yesterday, I told my girlfriend that I was jealous of her. Jealous that she was always right and I was always wrong. That it brought me so much pain and self-doubt. And she said, "It's not always about right and wrong."
That actually angered me. Can anyone guess why? I don't want to have to explain it. I want someone to understand how I'm feeling without clarification. So again, I told her how I was jealous of her for always being right...how I was in pain by constantly being "the bad guy" while she was "the good guy" in our conflicts...and she said it isn't always about right and wrong. Why do you think that response bothers me?

what I really want say is somabandhu kodikara crossing lines of traditional values and customs when it's come to decency disciplinary qualities regarding relationships even he was at the start of it despite his statuses of being past teacher in several schools later holding positions several government schools, private schools and overseas schools finally VIDURA COLLEGE which happened to his last service mof school I suppose and I yet to know if he was transferred to a yet another school since there may had been other mis-aps regarding him during the time of my time way from school which I never came to know by chance or total ignorance on my way or to say that staff of Vidura College Chairman totally being neglcting what's going on inside the school out of hands of responsibilities what mainly causes my prejudices or rejecting or further being avoiding to have continued relationship.
I just feel like for a guru this relationship as they are telling us seems really immature
