Nice unit. My dad was a factory salesman for Simplicity his entire career. Had the Virginia region. They were top notch compay back in the day before Briggs purchased them.
Thanks for watching!
For a 40 year old school tractor she's looking sweet hardly any rust glad you got her to so you can get her up and running again 👍😎
It's sometimes hard to think of 1982 as "old school". Since I was just in high school myself back then! Thanks for watching!
@@RealManSkills .I feel the same way to 🤣
I used to have one just like it. Now I've got an Ariens grand Sierra. I was hoping to find a video on that.
@@jesusfreaklecloux9578 You a funny man!
Got my dad's 5212.5 when he passed. Since then I have purchased three more. A 6111, 6211 and a 6216. Have two 42" decks one 36" deck. The 42" snow thrower and a 42" plow/ dozer blade. Getting a small winch for the plow as a Christmas gift, I don't suppose to know about 😃. Really no room on the front for a winch, as the hood tilts. I'm thinking of mounting the winch on the back right fender and hooking the winches cable to the lift handle. I'll have to disassemble the parts inside the handle to rid the handles knob, and remove the latch. The rototillers are hard to find. You're lucky you got one. I am always looking in my area for a tiller.
It was the rototiller that made me want it. Thanks for watching!
These are really sweet, I have the allis chalmers version, which was the t-816
I'm looking forward to getting this one running. Thanks for watching!
Love to have that thing
I got the engine running last summer but still haven't gotten the two drive belts on. Info on how the belts go on is a bit sketchy. Video coming as soon as I figure it out. Thanks for watching.
I got a 3112v I have nothing to hook to it
I bought this from a friend just because it had the attachments. I don't need any of it. Just fun to own.
Where u live at I may try to talk you out of it
Nice rig.....
Thanks
Can you help me with how the variable speed works?
I have a 6211 in trying to get working
I haven't gotten this tractor running yet. Hope to get it moving in the spring or summer.
You have to make sure the sheaves on the variator pulley open and close smoothly. That's the number one thing to look at. Keep that pulley in good shape and lubed up so that I can move back and forth easily when you push the clutch
Are you out there filming a lawn tractor in a suit ? I frickin love it. Yes get some belts and get her going you're going to love it.
No suit. Just my work jacket. Thanks for watching! Lots of projects to do, Will definitely make a video when I get her going.
