The title should be "Cleaning and welding the lawn mower" This isn't restoration, this is cleaning!! Even the spark plug is the old one ... old piston, old o rings piston, old and welded connecting rod ... Good job for bringing back to life some old equipment, but please next time use some new parts !!!!!
I'd rag on ya, but it seems everyone else has already done that, so...good job bringing that rusty, crusty thing back to life. I can appreciate NOT just "buying a new one". Too much goes to waste simply because people can't be bothered to fix things anymore.
I can understand a budget rebuild/restore, but what's the deal with welding the connecting rod? NO WAY would I ever do that. A new connecting rod couldn't be that expensive. Also a bit of bondo on that mower deck would have made the finished product look a lot nicer. And personally I don't care for the red wheels. Otherwise good job on bringing some old equipment back to life.
It's not expensive here in the overpaid, overfed West where people throw out perfectly good mowers the first time they fail to start, but in that country it's probably not affordable. It RAN, didn't it?
I didn't see you measure the crank journal. And I didn't see your measure the connecting rod diameter and I didn't see you clean up either with 1000 grit sandpaper to remove the gouged out aluminum on the crankshaft
Owners manual: I've compiled a torque specification for all the bolts and nuts on this machine in order for it to perform at its peak for years to come! Restoration man: Lol impact wrench go BBRBRBRBBRBRBRBR
grouse work mate and cheers from Australia 🐨🐑🦘🌴🌏🇦🇺 or the land down under to your area and some might be thinking i wonder if that piston connection rod being welded back together will last etc.
You know he's dedicated on his work when u see him restoring a sparkplug

No head gasket, valve cover gasket, etc...............too funny
Some salt water/vinegar, some paint stripper, some brush applied mud and few other tricks and there you have it, perfect restoration

A fraudster 😠
Have a look at where he lives and what you think is not expensive is probably a months wages.

U just put it there 😅

Absolutely!
Some industrial mower 😂😂
“It’s perfect”
For your (and fingers😊) safety. Allways remove the cable to the spark plug before removing the knife. Regards Stig Österberg from Dalsbruk in Finland.

Salut totu Ok pînă la biela sudată așa nu niciodată .Nevăr.

LOL !
Funciona con la biela soldada, el cilindro rallado, sin junta de culata, etc y hasta con la bujía vieja, no es posible

always suspect of restorations done in flip flops….
the bouncing logo/watermark is super distracting.
I didn't notice until i read your commy , thanks for ruining the video
😁 - trying to stop the money suckling channels from stealing his fraudulence? Just as bad/fraudulent as each other 😡
Why did you comment this !?!? Now i can’t unsee it…
I didn't even notice it either until I read the comment 🤦♀️
Sadat
Looks like someone put paint stripper all over the deck and left it outside for a year to make a youtube video xd
so im not the only ones who think that
VOCE SÓ ACHA OS PRODUTS NO MATO!
What kind of engine is that a Kawasaki
It's a lawn mower
That’s a Powermore/mtd engine.
Welded shaft hahaha probably wont last long
🇨🇵👍👏👋bravo well Done😊
10 bucks, thats the price for brand new connecting rod ...
Industrial? No..
Mask outside
How the hell is there more rust on the top then the bottom anyone one who has cleaned underneath the deck knows it will not be that clean
The wheels should have been white
I love everything but the old candle is an exaggeration

Didn't set the tappets
