Made it to my first NWTF convention this weekend and was lucky enough to hear your calling in person the first time which was awesome. As great of a Caller as you are, you are an even better hunter and woodsman. Learned so much from your videos and thank you for sharing your journey. Good luck this season and hope you stay safe and get on a lot of birds
Two thoughts. I watched you call in the prelims and finals of the gncc. You called well. Once, a few years back, I took my wife to get her first turkey and hauled her up a very steep mountain where we were eventually successful. On the way out she said, husband, if you're such a good caller why didn't you call him to the place where we started, avoiding the steep climb. Kinda like Chubs, right after your great gncc win, when he remarked, as the two of you were working had to get a bird to walk to you, "lay some of that grand national stuff on him." I so respect your calling ability and have studied it for a while. It was a wise gobbler that evaded you, because the calling was excellent.
Man birds like that are some tough jokers to hunt. Don’t gobble enough to let you know where they’re at. Been there done that. You gave it a good go Dave.
Dang man I know you work hard during trmurkey season making sure we have good footage and all, but you sure a lucky man. That is a pretty peice of land there. Dang fine calling too. Keep it coming so I can practice and still sound absolutely nothing like you.

Looks to me like that 🦃 had a bad experience in that part of the road. He couldn't get over it and wasn't taking any chance there. I've dealt with birds that way and soon as I changed my location I got him to come in and bang

Hey Dave, wondering if your calls will be back in stock before the season starts or if your limited with time now that’s it’s around the corner? I’m fortunate enough to have ordered one of each a few weeks ago. Just have been hammering on them just about everyday so just wondering if I need to slow down and make sure they are useable when my season starts in May here in New York. Thanks for the content always great stuff and gets me fired up waiting.
