Brazilian Zouk with William & Paloma (2017 Demo)

- This was one of our favorite demos of 2017. This track (Usher - Tell Me) grows on you the more you listen to it. The energy in the room was out of this world. Everyone had just finished an amazing workshop and then this happened.
End of class demos are hit or miss. Sometimes artists feel the energy, mood, vibe - sometimes they don't. This time around, everything clicked and we all witnessed this together.
As a videographer, I can say I tried my best in trying to flow with them as they danced. I matched certain moves perfectly and felt like the camera movement was just enough for the track and their dancing.

The rhythm section of the Usher song is great, and a very good match for Zouk dancing I think.
You did an amazing job filming this. If you see it on a static frame everything looks so flat, watching the camerawork you did makes me feel more like I'm there watching and let's me enjoy that every time.
He's one of the best zouk leaders I've ever seen! He actually looks like he's dancing and not just running around on the floor.

Loving that they dance to R&B and not the "traditional" Kizomba/Zouk music. This makes it more approachable (if that's the correct word) in American social settings where couple's dances, like Stepping, are practiced. So happy I discovered this couple here.
Brazilian Zouk couples improv. their style to different music style . that's the reason Bachata couples and WCS have been copping them. Just met, few weeks ago, a woman of my dream--very beautiful and intelligent and spiritual. But she is making it so hard to love me back. She is taking her time as if she is not sure her feeling. It seems to me her heart saying something while her mind is saying something. Sure she is above my pay grade but there is something she likes about me. Anyway, this song--Usher's tell me--and this zuok dance will be by which I'll remember these exhilarating days :)
