Lol, the same happened to me like two years ago xD I had tried literally 20 times to recruit the Regi and never recruited any of the three(as a lvl 100 with Friend Bow) ( However I had Mew x)) So I looked it up on Internet and realised I needed to have the Rock the Steel and the Ice to recruit them. So I recruited Regirock and Regice on my first try and on the floor like 30 I walked on a pitfall trap and it didn't trigger. Then Regirock fell in and I lost it xD ( When it happened I hadn't realised he was lost because it was the first time that someting like happened to me and when I realised he was lost I was so pissed because I had taken 3 reviver seeds just in case xD)
Yes same for me. I even brought an escape orb but that fell victim to one of those traps that disable your items. I hope they nerf the pitfall traps in the remake. Losing your partner for the floor is ok, but not for the entire dungeon.

I've never experimented with quicksave manipulation before, the whole "turning your game off after resuming play will count as a defeat" warning makes me too nervous about using the feature at all. It's probably too late anyway since I got every Pokémon by just playing the game until RNG stopped being a massive butt.
If anyone is doing this on red Rescue Team I would suggest that you bring a Max Elixer and use it when your frustration chain is low on power points. The reason for this is in buried relic Porygon can appear only in red Rescue Team and it happens to spawn on the route you have to take and you must defeat it cause it’s literally blocking the path. These extra Porygon cause you to not have enough power points for the Registeel fight(also depends on how many Pokémon you defeat on floor 1). Just use it right before a stair case and you should be fine. I just did it and I can confirm that it works
I don't know specifically for this game. But I imagine it's to do with how randomness is generated by using seeds of other potentially random information, like your movement, which is then stored and called upon later when "random" events need to happen
What the other guy said, but also want to specifically mention that quicksaving and loading in a dungeon sets the seed to a static value. This value is different for each floor, but you'll tend to see in speedruns and stuff they try and do it asap so you dont have to deal with many random floors. From there, rng is manipulated by the exact movements you take, so routing this out is a process of creating a save state, taking an action, then teleporting to see if it took you to the right place. If not, load the save state, take a different action, and go again. Same with recruiting and rng related to moves being used or missed by yourself and the AI.
If you just follow step by step what is he doing, you'll be sure to recruit them, i followed it floor by floor and i had same screen as yours, the only thing different on mine was the number of pokemon because my alakazam was over lvl 29 so i had to defeat few monsters more, but it works !!! Thank you maan !!

In general "avoiding"/back side-tracking the regi, while keeping any recruited ones away by changing their tactics like in the video, will work. If the regi starts changing stats and if it misses when it attacks you..it will let you recruit it once you win lmao

This manipulation is only for recruiting all three at the same time, not individually. You need the Ice Part or the Music Box in your inventory while you attempt to recruit him, other than that it's up to chance

Yup! Version exclusive pokemon being unlocked will effect the behavior of pokemon on the floor, it will not however change the floor generation and since there won't be any version exclusives during the regi fights it should still work for those at least.

Why the *#$@ can't I recruit Regirock in Red Rescue Team!? I have the Ancient Relic, the Music Box, the Friend Bow and only size-one team members (Shelgon, Oddish and Teddiursa) so why is the Recruitment Search thing in the menu red, as in "inapplicable"??!!
They have a pretty low recruitment rate, you may just be getting unlucky. If it says you can't recruit them though, maybe try bringing only one or two pokemon with you.
I cant follow these steps because theres a Porygon that blocks my path on floor 7... I got passed it by using frustration but then on the next floor, theres another next to the stairs that will KO you with the help of a Hoothoot
Yeah, so having the version exclusives from the opposite game unlocked can really screw with these manipulations. All I can tell you is bring extra items to try and help out, because I made these with the majority of people who haven't unlocked the opposite exclusives in mind. Sorry :(
It doesn't change the rates exactly, it just let's me find a turn where I can recruit a pokemon and guarantee that it happens every time, since things are exactly the same every time you quicksave.
You need the music box or the parts in your inventory so they don't drop them... In fact, I think I show and say that at the very start of the video (0:30).
While it is meant for BRT, if you reset the game after you quicksave, it should have the same effect on RRT. I haven't tested it yet though to see if it works exactly the same.

In Pokémon Legends Arceus, you don't need a Progress Device if you want to save whilst in a dungeon.

I don't think that's possible as you can only have a team of 4 and mew would take the team to 5

Is ridiculous that pitfall trap kills your teammate instantly even if he´s level 100, but the leader recieve only 5 damage.....
