  • If your heater/AC has problems blowing, maybe only blows on certain speeds or doesn't blow at all...if replacing the blower motor resistor doesn't fix it, its likely the cheapest route to go about troubleshooting the problem anyway ($12 from Amazon). I couldn't find a video for it myself so figured I'd figure it out and put one up...was really, really simple, shouldn't take more than a half hour, I'd imagine.

    hello Sir what were your symptoms that led you to determine that the blower motor resistor was bad??
    I have an intermittent blower operation it seems to be fine in all speeds and then nothing?
    Thank you!

      Hi, sorry for not having seen this until just now, but I can only speak for my issue...and that was having the air not blowing at all unless I turned the fan speed to high. But if I had to guess, I'd say its likely your problem as well. Hope you get it sorted!

    Is it necessary to remove the blower motor? Can't you just remove the resistor to the left and replace it?

      Jehosaphet I don’t know how much you saved me in diagnostic and labor fees but the blower motor was $70 and the Resistor was only $15, did it in like 30 minutes. You’re the man.

      How you doing, Darrell? Hah, I didn't know you'd subscribed. Last I went to Bellevue was almost a year ago...went by Greg's...didn't say hi, Hummer still out front on blocks, your house looks really good, you seen it lately? I'll take pics next time I'm out that way if not. Where you at now? I still have you in my contacts, but I'd bet the number is bad now. I'm still at the same one if you want to holler at me sometime...hope all is going well for you, man. Known you since I was a kid, its nice hearing from you.

    How do you disconnect the wires??

    • @Jehosaphet
      @Jehosaphet  2 года назад

      I don't think there were any wires...just had to unplug the resistor and plug the new one back in, no having to mess with any wires. At least as far as I remember anyway.
