I have a Lopi wood stove and let me tell you it is so good at heating my house the dual air control helps control rate of burn less getting up in the middle of the night. Looking for a used lopi insert for my in-laws. Good info man!
Those pellet stoves are fantastic! I've had one of those tsc pellet stoves for years of flawless service.. My parents have one and they are game changers.. Don't listen to this guy
@@domading2759 those stoves are cheap garbage a real wood stove is made of cast iron and not thin ass metal that burns pellets ..I could use wood and build a fire in that and warp it no problem..
@@scottcarter4388 its not meant to be a wood stove.. That's not the idea of one.. Its an appliance.. Your cook stove can't handle a fire in it either.. You clearly have never owned a pellet stove and your just spewing an opinion with no merit.. Just for context.. I have a wood cook stove (kitchen Queen 750) I have wood water heater(besides cook stove that handles domestic hot water) I have a Vermont castings wood stove, a free standing fire place and I have the king model pellet stove. I live on solar and wood. My opinions are based in real experience because I live in a way that people say they want to.. But I do it everyday.. And I'm here to tell you that I have had flawless service from my pellet stove.
I don't have time to waste to sit there and cut wood. One of the guys at work burns wood, he starts in about August splitting what looks like telephone poles. In the end ,he pays 1000$ for that. I pay around 1000 also but look at all the free time I've got. @@scottcarter4388
I have a Black Bart made in the 80s that has an electric fan in the back of the stove to plug into an outlet. I can roll a big hunk of a dry tree into the stove, unsplit, I use it for overnighters. There isn't enough money that would make me part with this stove. The top is so large I can heat water in two 40 gal pots I pour into and dip out of with a pot= plus a smaller pot for water.. I don't use the electric water heater in the winter, except for a shower, I have installed a manual switch only to warm up the water to II0 for limited one time use per week. My electric bill is 38. per month and we have high electric prices.
Bro, I just upgraded to the 500$ targhee for my 900sqft mobile home that's rated for 2000sqft and she cooks! She's 350lbs...getting out of my truck and into my home was anything but light. It's a G O O D STOVE

We had one of them “none quality wood stoves” for 10 years and heated our home with zero problems!
So do you have a wood stove in your home ? Maybe post a video of what you have so that we have a comparison
