I think you probably have the best CD collection on the planet. It sure beats my 2,200 CD collection. Everyone who personally knows me is blown away by the size of my collection. They'd probably faint if they saw your collection. 💿💿💿💿💿💿 😃
Michael - whatever collection You have is the very best.....it's yours! I often just look at my collection ( 9000 CDs and a couple hundred records and feel this burst of joy! Why? Glad you asked, ha ha, because I know that at any time I can pull out an album I absolutely love and instantly get the "feel goods" !!! Killer music is right at my fingertips......a helluva lot of choice tuneage! From ABBA to ZZ Top. Happy hunting - the chase is almost as good as the catch!
Never compare your "Collection" to someone else's! That's your music and you love it! 😊
Yes indeed in the past I had close to 5000 in my collection and I had an ex that ruined my love for music and had to pretty much sell my collection off a little at a time to where I was down to 150 or less then my ex was outta of my life and I got my passion back for music and collecting where my collection is at 1300 cds now but now I have a baby so I'm very little adding back my daughter comes first. It was cause of friending Brendon I got back on the horse and being a 46 year old dad for first time I'm leaving her a killer collection and when she gets older and understands music I can't wait to sit with her and have her pick out a CD for us to listen to.
I have around the same and it already fills a whole wall and more. Could only dream of what Brendon's would look like if all were out on display!
Quantity doesn't matter unless you're obsessive compulsive. Anyone with money can buy a bunch of stuff to put on a shelf. Probably better to just buy what brings you joy, whether no CD's or 10,000.
I love that i stumbled on to your channel couple years back. I don't know too many who collect cds the way i do. Got around 4000 now. Love that we all share the passion 💿💿🎶🎶
Amazing collection! The rock section alone is just such a fantastic showcase for the range of musical styles that make up the genre. The most eclectic music collection I’ve ever seen. Thank you for the videos!
Awesome!!! Thanks for sharing this with us. I've been pulling out some of my albums and it's fun remembering what I have. Have a great weekend B
dude, your collection is simply epic!!!
Thanks Chris!
@@BrendonSnyderhey brendon since you’re in NYC there’s an initiative going on for a major band we all like, wanted to know if you wanted to be part in supporting it and for more info. You have an email?
Fabulous collection Brendon… & being a collector myself it’s always fascinating to see how other collectors store their large collections! Thanks for sharing it with us… & you’ve somewhat inspired me to think about making a video like this for my channel now! Take care my friend!🤘🏻
Great job brendon.. Love that 12.000 cd collection man...love that metal section, glam section, classic rock section too very nice!!! Right on...keep ROCK N' MAN.
I probably have about 1000 and I wish i could get rid of some, I just can't decide which. The thing I've learned is the more you have the less time you have to spend with each album and give it the attention it deserves. I have CDs I haven't listened to in years because of this.
Yep. It's easy to spend more time and effort buying stuff than actually listening and really getting to know the music.
Hey Brendon you do know that Alternative Rock Glam Metal and Heavy Metal and Rock N Roll in general are still subgenres of Rock music right because in the words of Billy Joel it is still Rock N Roll to me
That was so awesome. I could spend all day looking through your collection. It would be heaven.! Liked seeing some of your rarities
That is a wild collection my man. Glad to see there are music collectors out there still! I myself am slowly building my vinyl collection. I have about 75 so far. Keep up the great work dude!
Wow I'm very impressed. You have a huge collection unlimited music man. This is awesomeness!
Amazing collection Brendon! I usually never get rid of CDs, but you've inspired me to curate my collection a bit. I started with getting rid of duplicates that I did get in large collections and have no idea why I kept them...
Hey Brendon, what a great collection! It's like being in a music museum! Cheers!
Please do more vids like this... fantastic to see all this rare stuff... love your channel

To have a whole big room just for CD's is so great. I have a wife and a daughter and just don't have the room for my 1500 CD's and 700 books, that's why I have to store all of it in the cellar. But as soon as my daughter moves out (she is 17 already😄) I will finally have my own library and music room. Our favourite hobbies should not be banned to the cellar.
thats an amazing collection to have if the internet drops off for a while, thx for showing
Amazing collection. Really interesting to see what's in it. Those Cure and Journey albums are 👌choices. Great video!
Thanks Aidan! Glad to see someone with a broad taste in music like my own.
Hello Brendon! Your collection is amazing! In this age of streaming, it's important to show that a physical collection is NOT a thing of the past. Thank you! Rick
Congratulations! You have an incredible collection of music.
Fantastic collection. Wow. ❤
Loved it when you pulled out the Gene Loves Jezebel CD - one of my fav bands. Great collection!
They’re such an underrated band! I love their work.
I love the dedication you've put into your CD collection! You've got some great stuff! Now I want to play Def Leppard's 'Retro Active' (1993)!
Congratulations, amazing collection , Def Leppard - Hysteria is one of my favorite albums of all time 😲
Impressive collection. 🤘😎🤘
What a beautiful thing.. great collection
Thank you!
Great collection brendon
Awesome man 🤘

Beautiful collection and very well organized 👌🐸
Thank you!
awesome Brendon, thanks for sharing
My pleasure!
Hi Brendon: Incredible collection! 😃👍. I have about 3100 CDs right now, including boxed sets. I began collecting CDs in the early 1990s while letting go of most of my vinyl and cassettes. In the late 1990s through today, I returned to collecting vinyl. In recent years, I began to collect cassettes when I could find them in nice condition. I also have nearly 1700 movies on 4K, Blu-Ray and DVD. Loads of entertainment for me! ☀🌴🌊. Rock Always! - Heather
Your collection sounds similar to mine , 2400 cds , 900 lps and approx 700 dvd / blu ray. Still collecting until i run out of room ...and I'm close. Wendy
Awesome! Keep on collecting :)
Thanks!
I have 2500 CDs in my collection [Embarrassing compared to Yours] and I love it. Yours is Dynamic & you should be proud.
Great to hear EZO get a shout-out. One of the greatest forgotten bands.
Amazing collection! I've only reached 300 CD's so far, but I got a feeling that I might also need a separate room for this hobby soon😅
Looking forward to watching this video in full later !!!!!
Awesome collection. I am near 6000 cds, all rock and metal. A long way till i reach 12000 😂! Cheers Brendon 🍻.
It’s not a race. Take your time and enjoy the journey of creating an awesomely curated music library! 👍

Yes they sure are! Music is life!
incredible collection Brendon. and great taste in tunes . my hats off to you! that's amazing...
Thanks! 🙏
I got a buddy who has an over 10K vinyl collection, fills his little house. Your place and his look like a music store. Nice collection by the way.
An awesome collection... love the variety. I'm envious of that shelving. Like you I have a vast variety of arists. I'm in the 10,00 range. It's nice to see someone who loves music and the collecting aspect. My family thinks I'm nuts 😂. Thanks for sharing.
Your family is right mate ...this is called an addiction ....mental health illness
@@nebod1556 sorry mate...it's a love of music. It's a collection that I've acquired over 40 years. Everyone has a hobby and that's mine. Kind of an uncalled for rude comment.
amazing collection and that Michael Bolton album is indeed killer!
Always amazed at your collection Brendan! Great organization and condition of the cds are pristine! I just alphabetized my entire collection(took about a month). I’m sitting with 8200+ CDs not including the BoxSets!
I’ve thought about just alphabetizing everything too but then I listen to music based on mood so it’s nice to have all of one genre type together. But it’s all in what works for each of us. What matters is we have a collection in the first place! 👍
@@BrendonSnyder Your genre based boxes are a great idea. I may start incorporating that! Thanks for the idea.
A wonderful collection - I have around 4000 cds and I have always found that the best way to keep track of them is to have them in alphabetical order. When you start putting band related cds, i find it very difficult to decide where some would go, since (esp today) musicians tend to have many bands throughout their career.
I know I told you before, but this an impressive collection. Amazed you know what you have.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
I didn’t realize Joe Lynn Turner was on so many albums. I’ll have to look for them.
He’s on way more albums that what I had in that box. Those were just solo album but he has also guested as the vocalist on a whole album by other bands, or partnered up like The Hughes Turner Project or when he was in Rainbow and Deep Purple.
I’m a big fan of his work with Rainbow. I knew he did other projects but it’s a lot more than I realized. Thank you for the reply. 🤘
Amazing collection. You should consider ripping it all so you can play it easier.
great collection.. I have a pretty large collection of basically jazz music.. I've been concentrating on Box Sets lately..
One word: Awesome!!!! 👍🤘🔥
👍🙏
@@BrendonSnyder 👍 Just ordered your channell! 😅🤘

great collection you have there, by the way 👍
Great collection!! 👌🤘
Next time boxsets that you have on the top shelfs... 😉
I’ve made a 3-part series going through all of my boxsets. I’ve also made one just on the boxsets that site on the shelves, see link ruclips.net/video/6tGh41u85LQ/видео.htmlsi=heKy5zmQvdjukbI_
Damn I thought my collection was up there. I don't know why cd's are not very popular these days even though vinyl made quite the comeback. I still play my cd's all the time. CD's forever!
That’s a pretty big collection, man… have you listened to all of them? I love your cd shelfs.
I have about 3000 cd and a couple of hundred LP’s. I’ve sold my whole collection twice before, and that i regret. Cool t-shirt.
An impressive metal and mainstream rock collection! Would like to see other music genres in your collection, such as hardcore punk and UK punk, classic country, film scores, reggae, soul, folk, jazz and blues, to name just a few types of musical genres.
Impressive collection! I'm from Canada and I'd never heard of Moxy, although apparently AC/DC opened for them in 1977.
Amazing CD collection Brendon 👍
I have alot but not 12,000 worth 😆
Municipal Waste, now that is a fitting name for a heavy metal band. A fascinating mix of all kinds of music, which is pretty cool. I really dig your system of organization, as well.
Just watched the video...one word...wow !!!!
There are many channels dedicated to collecting records but very few channels about CD's. I collect both but I buy mainly CD's nowadays due to skyrocketing prices!!
How do you listen to them. Mind blowing. I only have 800. Enjoy your videos. I’m from Australia.
This dude is really fucking proud of his excess and flaunts it without the slightest hint of shame 😄
Hell no! I worked hard for my collection. I’m not made of money. But I know what I like and find ways to enjoy my passion.
Dont be upset that you haven't worked as hard as him to get his stuff... Work harder, one day you will get your own.
Work harder to enhance your addiction mate...
Thanks for the advice. 😄 I work plenty hard and make a good living. This isn’t about me wishing I had 12,000 CDs and not being able to afford them 😂
Incredibile collection man....I have more than 1000 CD but only by legendary Scorpions....
Your mention of Michael Bolton totally reminded me of one his songs that’s played during the frat scene in the Rodney Dangerfield movie, Back to School! Everybody’s Crazy! Pre-Shazam, I had a heckuva time figuring who that was! I assumed it was some 80’s glam metal band, never in my mind would I have guessed that it was Michael Bolton! That song rocks!
I would love to see an Ameoba "what's in my bag" Brendon Snyder
Edition. It would be an hour long and FANTASTIC!!
that's awesome collection i'm a cd fan
I currently have 775 cd's in my collection. I really enjoy it. I listen to 1 or 2 complete cds each night.
Superb collection, i whish you could show your vinyl also and you must listen to Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Joe Bonamassa they also rock as hel...🤭😁😁
Nice collection. I still enjoy buying CDs but have never counted how many I have. Some are at my condominium, and some are at my parents house. I’ve slowed down my buying quite a bit due to space limitations and am very selective with what I buy now.
My heroes! Long live the CD!
nice G&L rampage bro I have the same but made in late 90s
Hi, I've been buying CD'S since '84 and have amassed about 2,000. Due to space constraints I've ditched all the jewel cases and now keep the CD'S and Booklets in SLAPPA CD flight cases which are great as you can flip through them like reading a book, 6 to a page. As I'm also very much into hifi, I'd be very interested in the kit you use when listening to your collection. Love your enthusiasm, best wishes from the UK 😊😊
I recently filmed a video when I bought my new system, see link ruclips.net/video/sRn_ffY_VUw/видео.htmlsi=rJSmB7r08SpxQjhL

"If there was a fifth band in the Big Four, it should be Overkill" : I couldn't agree more ! It seems that they've never done a bad album. And their recent works are so good.
Thank you Brendon for showing us so precisely what stands on these shelves we see in the background of all your videos.
Im at about 8000. Still aways to go to catch you. In my mid 50s, searching for CDs is still my favorite thing to do
Nice !
It's an amazing collection Brendon, but how do you remember it all? Do you ever inadvertently duplicates? Fascinating video. It's brilliant you put a different one out every day. Always look forward to them. Its a lot of work for you & I for one appreciate your efforts. I'm a long time viewer & remember the 'wall of wonder'😊. Thanks
Yeah right now it’s just all in my head. Maybe one day my memory won’t be so sharp but for now I am able to recall it all.
@@BrendonSnydersame for me Brendon been with you from almost the beginning and look forward to your video every morning. Thanks for all the work and effort in doing so🤘🏻
I would love to see you go through your box of RATT stuff. They are my favorite band from the 80s.🤩
I already made that video, see link ruclips.net/video/zKKDH7pQhe4/видео.htmlsi=1Y3ThT2dHZPMVv_-
I love your box sets - have you done a video on those alone?
Hey Brendon- great to see Midnight Oil and Colin Hay getting some airtime on your channel. Two legendary artists from Oz. You've made me proud. What a collection but, how often / how do you play them all? Cheers
from Oz
Earth & Sun & Moon is a great album too.
Thats crazy bro
If it’s used and hard to find, I’ll buy a duplicate. Sometimes I’ll notice a defect and it’s nice to have a backup. Or if the initial buy is a digipak and later find a jewel case version, I’ll buy it but keep both. Great video!
I like to replace my digipaks with jewel cases too. But unless there is something different like bonus tracks or a DVD with the digipak, I usually get rid of it.
I did have many of the 80's rock and metal on tape that you have in your collection, but i've been selling(900+ titles) via a friend since late 2022 and suprised what people pay for them.
My cd collection is also being streamlined but notvon such a scale as tapes very hard to decide what goes, lots of Euro Metal definitely stays!
To think how much bigger my retirement fund could be right now had I not purchased so many CDs over the years…and I don’t regret it one bit!!!
I hope you have some insurance coverage for all your 12,000 CDs just in case something bad happens. You can’t be never be too careful about it ,saying it out of concern.
Baby Animals is an Australian band. 🙂. You showed there first album and it’s incredible. It belongs under Rock though. Nothing glam about it. Great vid.
Everyone has an opinion 😂
I’m impressed the way you lift the 90 CD box like it’s lighter than a feather 😂
Haha…😂😂😂
Hey Brendon, it's always so fun and entertaining to watch your videos. I've got a question, have you ever wondered what will be of your massive collection when you are in your 80s?? Think that there will come a time when you decide to downsize?
No never! I love the collection and wouldn’t want to part with any of it.
Wow what an amazing collection of music, 😱 you probably have more CDs under one roof than any music store. I'm guessing. Interesting Robert Palmer CDs not to be confused with Robert Plant .
Robert Palmer, Robert Plant......He got the RP correct!
Either way that is an amazing collection 💿💿⏺️💿💿💿💿💿
I have 4000 or so. Took forever to import them and store them all on external hard drives. I would never get rid of my CDs though. Love collecting, the artwork, and I too am somewhat of a completist.
Great collection! I should send you my cd and vinyl collection and you rank mine and my listening room called The Sniper’s Nest.
Answer: EVERYTHING!
Haha 😂😂😂
Hey Brandon you've always had a impressive collection been following you for awhile now.Since you have gone over your collection have you ever thought about goin over your sound system that you have and are you into hifi stuff for amping up your system as in dacs,Certain speaker set up,type of speakers you own,cd system etc
I recently bought a new sound system and filmed the experience, see link ruclips.net/video/sRn_ffY_VUw/видео.htmlsi=iu3DCvSFf3ffEpIe
Even as a death metal head I have to say: hats off!!!! :-)
Thank you! 🙏
Cool, you pulled out my favorite album of all time, PERMANENT VACATION (1987) Aerosmith
I'm surprised you don't sleeve them. I have around 80K and am building a barn to warehouse them.
Sometimes it's cheaper to buy a collection or lot and sell the rest.
I never thought about doing a recurrent bookshelf but I'm sure radio did that with their carts since those were the ones they went for most.
Are you big on hit singles collection with unique single mixes?
And now you got a lot of cds to put back!
I used to have a lot of categories and subcategories like you. But now I just have a 90's alternative section which is the biggest one, then a 2000's alternative section, a metal section, other smaller categories would be black music, latin aternative, electronica, hip hop and 2000's pop and trap. I don't use jewel cases so I can fit everything in my shelves. Older music I have it on vinyl like 80's alternative being my biggest vinyl category, 80's metal, 80's latin alternative, 80's funk and electronica, 80's hip hop, 80's corporate rock and pop, 70's classic rock, 70's funk and soul, a jazz category a reggae category and an exotica category all on vinyl. Also have some vinyl from the 2000's on.
1989 - 2024, which is about 28 CDs per mounth !! Some box sets are amazing ! Great collection !
If you say so! 👍
Boxes are a good idea as you can store and access them easily.
Got to make due the best you can with what’s available to you!
Inspiring video. I wonder if you pay much attention to the Dynamic Range thing for different versions of the same album? For instance Buggles Age of Plastic was originally released on CD in 1987, then re-issued in 2000. The original commands three times the price, presumably because the DR Database indicates a greater dynamic range for this disc and is therefore the audiophile's version of choice!
I don’t buy things just because they have been remastered or something claims one sounds better than another. I do know what I like and listen to what sounds good to me. Since we all hear things differently, what you prefer may not be what I prefer.
@@BrendonSnyder Fair enough. At the end of the day owning any version of something is better than none at all!
I have somewhere around 10,000 , mainly Studio albums from 20th Century. Not easy to find 70s Studio albums on cds. Best part is it's ALL completely financed through reselling. I only buy like 5-10 a year off the internet, more fun finding in the wild
