  • My thoughts have become a reality! Lol
    I have been thinking about this for a while and now it’s done and I couldn’t be happier! I love it ALOT!
    I used the drop stitch technique for this project as well as my Addi 46 needle machine.
    You will also need a crochet hook if you decide to do the trim.
    I used a 4.5 and a 5 mm hook.
    Here is a link to my FB group….. come on over! Show us your work!

    Happy Knitting my sweet friends!
    Shelley ❤️

    your waste yarn got tangled on the ends because when knitting in panel mode, to smoothly pull out your stitches, it NEEDS to be pulled from the working end, when pulled from the starting point it will get tangled at each end. hope that helps😇 i love the stitch!

    Beautiful Top gurl!!! Question: I am looking at making a swim suit knit cover and my question is can u make large holes between stitches on the knit machine. Macramé has big holes between stitches, is it possible to accomplish such holes on the Circular Knit machine. I want to be able to wear the cover on a hot day as a stylish airy crop top or poncho...I hope that made sense...

      I made a beanie on my channel with the figure 8 stitch. I was also thinking it would make a beautiful lace top. Just haven’t gotten to it yet.
      Check out that stitch on my channel. It’s the black beanie in the beanie playlist section.

    Do you have size recommendations for a kids ? How would I measure them to figure out how big to make it ? would love to make this for my 7 year old and 12 year old .

    • @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
      @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet  Год назад

      I don’t but in the video I show you the measurements before and after dropping the stitches. Go by that and then make the panels as long as you need for their height knowing what the difference will be once it’s dropped. Make sense?

    This is beautiful! I have wanted to make a version of this since I got my Addi 46 and 22 (in December last year).. I cannot for the life of me get the flat panels to NOT drop on one end or the other on my 46 and of course it happens in the middle of my project.. I tried on my 22 needle and it works much better. It's going to take a while on the smaller machine, but i think it will still look pretty good! Patience is a virtue!! lol!!

    Have a question , I did the 60 rows but my first panel after dropping the stitches is only a tad past my hip what have I done wrong.

  • @leftycrafter
    @leftycrafter Год назад

    I'm confused how it didn't all unravel when you pulled out the waste yarn? Every other stitch was ready for dropping with the rest nicely attached. I'm mostly a needle / hand knitter so maybe the machine does it like that from the start. Can you clarify? Thank you. Love this project

    • @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
      @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet  Год назад +1

      I worked every second stitch so those stitches were secure and the rows attached will not unravel. The ones I didn’t work are the ones that unravel once your remove the waste yarn that is holding them in place.

    • @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet
      @koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet  5 месяцев назад

      That’s a good question. I would use colour changing yarn because otherwise you have nowhere to hide the yarn tails.
