i always wondered why the aus anti nuclear lobby was so strong ... now its plain as day... if you go nuclear ... you wont want coal or gas anymore & guess whos selling that by the millions of tons... btw another fine video!
Well, that, & the fact that thanks to US military interests, breeder reactor development is by far the most heavily incentivized; which isn't exactly ideal for long term safety (despite being much safer than, for example, coal). Breeder reactors do have great output, but they're _not_ the only viable nuclear power source, despite over half a century of vested-interest propaganda claiming otherwise.
They're putting a lot of effort into pretending to fix the environment and housing crisis. When they actually don't want to do either. So I pretend to be compliant with their laws. Interesting game.
Paula will be fine...she will smile upon us as her movement clears 1000s of hectares of trees for Chinese solar and wind farms that she swore to protect...
It´s the same everywhere, not only in Australia. In Germany the gouvernement saved jobs in the coal industry by tax reduction and gouvernement money but they lost 4 times as much jobs in the solar and wind energy industrie at the same time. Now over 90% of all solar modules comes from China. Jiipiiih!!
Well, Germany's production is causing electricity prices to go up here in Norway which means I have to pay more just because you guys shut down your nuclear plants and can't supply yourself. So if China takes cares of production instead of you then that's a good thing for me. If only more of your industry would shut down so we could get our prices back to a more reasonable level that would be great. Or better yet, get your nuclear stuff back online and then we can both have nice stuff.
@@daniel4647 WOW, you must be a Genius! I never read so much egoistic BS in so few words. One of the biggest producers of oil and gas and for sure one of the biggest profiteers of this industry has problems because Germany buys too much electricity from you? Norway is producing round about 20 billion kWh more then it needs and that is sold for more money then it costs to produce. When your politicians or your provider is telling you that Germany is the reason for higher prices you can be sure that's BS. Even when, nobody is forcing you to sell and Norway has double the GDP per capita.
@@daniel4647Prices went up because of the gas turbines, because gas prices went up, because Nordstream. Not because nuclear power plants were shut down. Germany produces most of its energy from renewables, so much so that France imported energy from Germany when France had to temporarily shut down their nuclear reactors because it was too hot for them. The nuclear reactors in Germany were replaced with mostly coal, which actually reduced energy costs, and with the compensation paid to the nuclear power plant owners, they don't want to turn them back on, they would lose money if they went back into operation. The growing energy demand from electric vehicles can only be covered with more renewables.

I hope you're right. I also hope that Labour's move to the centre right in some of its policies this election is a short term thing, because they need to find a way to harness the left wing if they want to keep the Conservatives out, and they won't be able to do that if they don't run any left-wing politics. They also need to find a way to deal with voter disenfranchisement. My generation (gen Z) especially doesn't seem to be coming out in force to vote, even though they're generally quite left-wing. This is partially because they don't feel heard or acknowledged. Interestingly enough, I think that Starmer's response to the Israel-Hamas conflict has cost him support, and he could have harnessed more support from my generation my supporting Palestinian civilians, cause even though gen Z isn't very united on a lot of things, most of us seem to be united in that.

Ummm, yes,? Most voters are women, most welfare goes to women. While not being conscripted or anything requiring accountability.
Working in the interests of the majority at the expense of the minority (men), that's democracy mate.
The only true media source, nicely put together 🤣
Excellent reporting on the latest actions of the coal mining lobby's public affairs and infrastructure department, or, as some people still insist on calling it, the Australian Government
Thanks 🙏💛

My sincerest condolences on Paula's passing. 💜
Keep speaking the truth, guys!
Yes..so much truth....while paula hugs a tree, her movement uses the same laws to clears 1000s of hectares of trees to build wind and solar farms...so dumb
I am very sorry to hear about Paula, my heartfelt condolences to everyone at the Juice media, and thank you for all she has done and what she has started
Condolences on your loss.
I love your work .. from South Africa … “State Capture” … perfected here … luckily for Australia after looting South Africa all the facilitators and advisors have emigrated to Australia (since they effectively cannot be extradited) … luckily you now have all the skills to take state capture to the next level .. 😂
If only the ALP were in government and had a way to change the EPBC Act. Wait.. what?
Two wings of the same broken birb
i always wondered why the aus anti nuclear lobby was so strong ... now its plain as day... if you go nuclear ... you wont want coal or gas anymore & guess whos selling that by the millions of tons... btw another fine video!
True.
The closer you look, the worse it gets.
you aint lookn close lookin at jewtube, couldnt be more controlled, anything on here is gyu approved, make no mistake
They're putting a lot of effort into pretending to fix the environment and housing crisis. When they actually don't want to do either. So I pretend to be compliant with their laws. Interesting game.
It's like a fractal design
That was the kindest I recall you ever being to a Government Minister.
RIP, Paula.....God prepares a place for the faithful departed.
Great upload, JM. Sad to hear about Paula passing....
Paula will be fine...she will smile upon us as her movement clears 1000s of hectares of trees for Chinese solar and wind farms that she swore to protect...
Does integrity mean nothing anymore?
Thank you juicemedia for your continued work!!
It´s the same everywhere, not only in Australia. In Germany the gouvernement saved jobs in the coal industry by tax reduction and gouvernement money but they lost 4 times as much jobs in the solar and wind energy industrie at the same time. Now over 90% of all solar modules comes from China. Jiipiiih!!
The average per job subsidy for the German solar sector was 250.000 Eur/year back then. Globalization still happened.
@@daniel4647 not like we had a choice. Our prices went up as well. People who decided that aren't even at the power anymore
Love this one! I work with a biodiversity charity and it’s definitely challenging to get anything done.
As someone carrying a rather large HECS debt, I felt that! And thank you, Paula.
They're reversing last year's bullshit indexation! People who have paid too much will be getting cash refunds!
I would love you guys teaming up with "Punters" brilliant and down to earth as people grasp it. The Aussie public really are not bright!
Sorry to hear about Paula, my condolences.
Another top quality sketch my friends!
RIP Paula, thank you for bringing this joy into our world
Sorry for your loss.
Thanks for bringing the facts to the surface, Juice Media.
Your mom will be proud of you, Zoë! Please continue your excellent work and never stop!
My sincerest condolences! May Paula's legacy live on through real positive change in the environment. She sure was a great mother, look at the daughter she raised!
Viva Paula! A big hug for you and I am sorry for the loss of that wonderful woman
This has to be the best one yet I think. Love the B Roll to the parliament that was amazing.
We export about the same amount of gas aa Qatar, but we make 95% less in revenue from it.
Sometimes I think this country is the embodiment of the "just fuck my shit up, fam", meme.
Those who are on the gravy train won't care
@@allanm250yep. It’ll be good to know who was responsible for signing this atrocious gas bent-over deal?
From memory, coconut Howard signed that toxic deal as a parting love letter to his Mining industry backers. It seems we’re stuck with that deal unless we find some way to get round it. I believe breaking the deal places Australia under ‘sovereign risk’ which I think means gas companies can sue us big time under some international court in WEF
@@newsfromnowhere5343 what an a.s..hole! He sold us out! He ruined the property market, gave tax handouts to very wealthy retirees with millions and now this?
Keep Speaking Up!
Love u guys!
Labor can't even blame the states this time - they are in Gov in all but one there
Yep. They ought to be required to put "Labor" in quotes, to minimize misrepresentation; same goes for the US "Democratic" party, which _explicitly_ declared before Congress that their nominations need not be decided democratically.
Hi Giovanni. It was so nice seeing the dedication to your mum at the end of this video. I hope you and your family are doing well. I really didn't know, before, that your mum was part of your inspiration for the HGA/juicemedia content. She would be so proud of you and your family for continuing on. And, it was nice seeing part of the HGA team in action in this video. I hope you continue to grow and produce much needed content to help keep everyone aware and sane while wondering what governments are doing (that is wrong). I wish we had someone like you in the U.S. doing something similar - but I am not aware/haven't seen anyone step up to the plate like you have. It seems like "we Americans" lost our way and gumption to fight back. So, mate, it's on you, your family, and the HGA/juicemedia team to steer the course ... and for us, around the world, to continue supporting you while you do. Take care, mate. All the best. - AJ
Happy to see both of my favourite advocates collaborating, power house 👊
It's a worldwide problem too. It's infuriating.
With capitalism being the predominant economic system of the world, we are doomed unless the people can take control.
How do you feel about India and China
@@chris0000924 I think tensions are pretty high between them, but I guess that's china and every other country except North Korea. China is the trash dump of the world, polluting rivers to make solar panels cheap for western countries. Solar panels is one of the best ways to pretend to care about the environment while doing the opposite.
And we export all our emissions to them and import everything from overseas emissions free or do we?
@@chris0000924 If their populations produced as much greenhouse gas per person as we in Australia do, then the climate crisis would have occured decades ago.
Condolences to the family and crew and three cheers to Paula.
Blue skies, Juice.
Thejuicemedia and Punter's Politics join forces - what a glorious day for Australia!
Let's get those companies out of politics so unbiased decisions can be made. And make them pay their fair share of taxes.
No such thing as an unbiased decision, especially where money is concerned.
Brilliantly done as usual
The Shit Lite party didn't fix things? :(
Friendlyjordies made me believe that Labor would be better, but totally lost all respect for them when they want Elon Musk in jail for not caving to their censorship whims. But yeah watching albo slowly turn from a idealistic young politician to a completely captured corporate shill is par for the course I guess. Looks like independents are the only way to go, so they can slowly be corrupted over time. Then elect new independents.
Labor have the mandate to fix things but are choosing not to.
Not one iota of a chance that ever happening.
One of the most straight to the point factual journos telling the sh*tf*ckery as it is.
You're doing good work, holding a government to account. Over here in the UK, it's looking like our Labour Party might also chicken out of climate action, so I commiserate with you.
Ed Milliband will keep pushing Labour in the correct direction.
He still has some clout.
he doesn't, it's all cranky starmer now.@@IndigoIndustrial
@@byunbaekhyun2283 It certainly isn't. Starmer tried to demote Rayner a while ago and was convinced to do otherwise.
Over here in Oz, we commiserate with you. Sad to see Labor and Labour making the same mistakes. Shit and ShitLite seems all over WEIRD nations, along with fascisi rising.
Another tour de force. Thank Narnia TJM is on the ball.✔✔☮☮😊😊
Everybody needs a tree-hugging mother.
Oh, that act sounds awfully complicated. We just have a law that says we can ignore the other laws if we feel like it.
Sensational! But saddened by Labor & Plibersek subservience to tax avoiding multinationals!
Not just funny and articulate but gorgeous too!
Great to get @punterspolitics on board! Been loving his exposure of idiotic government policies.
My deepest condolences. And thank you.

Im starting to think Australia and its voters, cant stop this. If we do i think it could lead to some heavy handedness from the US and its axis of ....
'we who have always ruled the world don't like the way you dance'
Australia has its plan b; we have the billions set aside to pay the Mexicans to walk an invasion which will paralyze American politics and result in the Yanks shooting themselves in the foot again , preocuppied with who said n*&gger.. Australia would shit on the US in a war because we think as individuals, and know somethings they don't know. :) some small things ... haha we should rule.

And while Tanya was so busy approving fossil fuel projects, she somehow found the time to reject a proposal for a windfarm on Wooroora cattle station just up the road. Companies and their lobbyists shouldn't be allowed with a light year of politicians. And donations from them should have prison terms for both the company directors and the politicians and party leaders that accept them. In non air-conditioned cells in the Northern Territory obviously.
Thank you, it gives me such joy to see the government doing something right.
Watching it as soon as it came out so it doesn’t get taken down! #GovernmentCensorship!!
Yeah, Labor of today have tapped in to the Tony Abbott train of thought, but seemingly want to take it up a couple of notches. 🤨
Fossil fuel industry has captured the major parties also evidence by the Future Gas Strategy. Current and future generations along with HECS students pay the price of the climate crisis. It’s shameful.
