    I’m glad I found it! I am spending time with my granddaughters in a couple weeks and this will be perfect because they both love stitching. It’s something we can do together.

    This is really brilliant. Your video-ing is perfect and you show how to do every stitch so clearly. Thank you so much for this tutorial - I’m definitely going to try one. (The music wasn’t exactly conducive to slow stitching though - I had to mute it as it was making me feel irritable.) But thank you all the same.

    Oh can I come and play with you, I would be in heaven watching, I used to have a huge stash of everything (machine embroidery) was my passion but once the big C got me it was all to much for me so it all went to the charity shop. I am really enjoying watching and learning this new hobby hopefully I will finish one soon. 💖💖💖

I can’t please everyone with the music or my nail polish so I’ll just continue to do what I enjoy and share with those who are interested. I have a job outside of this.       @@cookingjennfer But it’s so mean!!!!! I’m 72 yoa and I think the most important life lesson I have learned is to just be kind. Haven’t always been that way but now I make a concerted effort. Your videos are sooo beautiful! And you make slow stitching so do-able for us all! Keep on doing what you do! And I LIKE your different nail polishes. RUclips is so amazing that we have you and others to show us such beautiful things! Just Don’t let the meanies ever get you down!

      Absolutely! Thread scraps make good bird nests and even the smallest fabric scraps are good for stuffing things like pin cushions.

      Thank you! Some of them I purchased at the local fabric store as quarters and others are squares I got from www.batiksontherun.com The sky in this one is from one of the squares. This online seller is local to me but they’re on Etsy so I imagine they can ship anywhere.

    This is a great tutorial and perfect for showing how to make the various stitches. Are you using sewing thread or embroidery floss? Also, what type pen are you using for marking that disappears? Thanks for the great video!

      I use a combination of threads and flosses. I show the spool or skein in the videos before I stitch with them. The pens are Frixion heat erase pens.

      I’m not sure what that is but if you’re referring to the base fabric it’s a piece of thrifted cloth napkin. ☺️

      You can buy stiff felt. I prefer the regular craft felt though. The stiff one is harder to stitch through.

      Thanks! Maybe you can try making them a little bigger? Or use some iron in adhesive to hold the smaller pieces down.
