I’m glad I found it! I am spending time with my granddaughters in a couple weeks and this will be perfect because they both love stitching. It’s something we can do together.
This is really brilliant. Your video-ing is perfect and you show how to do every stitch so clearly. Thank you so much for this tutorial - I’m definitely going to try one. (The music wasn’t exactly conducive to slow stitching though - I had to mute it as it was making me feel irritable.) But thank you all the same.
Thank you! I am trying to show the stitches up close when I can. I’m using more soothing music these days but it’s too late for this video now. Thanks for watching and I hope you do make one! They are so much fun!
Thank you for sharing I love little landscapes and things like yours I will try my best to create something as cute as yours that was amazing. Thank you for sharing us..😊
I learned this new hobby from you, thank you so much. Brilliant that you show every single detail and all the steps like chosing the fabric, trying different things. That develops the view for the composition. Sorry for my english. Greetings from germany
Thanks for watching! I’m so glad you learned something. Your English is great but if you want to comment on German that is also fine. I can click the translate link. 😊
Oh can I come and play with you, I would be in heaven watching, I used to have a huge stash of everything (machine embroidery) was my passion but once the big C got me it was all to much for me so it all went to the charity shop. I am really enjoying watching and learning this new hobby hopefully I will finish one soon. 💖💖💖
Thank you! I appreciate your concern! Welcome to the internet! I can’t please everyone with the music or my nail polish so I’ll just continue to do what I enjoy and share with those who are interested. I have a job outside of this. This channel is just for fun and it’s free to watch. People can choose to follow along or not. 😉
@@cookingjennfer But it’s so mean!!!!! I’m 72 yoa and I think the most important life lesson I have learned is to just be kind. Haven’t always been that way but now I make a concerted effort. I really love the way this one turned out! The colors are so soothing. Out of curiosity, do you buy your batiks in squares or do you cut them yourself? I love the variety that you have within each colorway! Thank you for sharing this video with us!❤
Thank you! Some of them I purchased at the local fabric store as quarters and others are squares I got from www.batiksontherun.com The sky in this one is from one of the squares. This online seller is local to me but they’re on Etsy so I imagine they can ship anywhere.
This is a great tutorial and perfect for showing how to make the various stitches. Are you using sewing thread or embroidery floss? Also, what type pen are you using for marking that disappears? Thanks for the great video!
It is amazing to turn scrap fabric into amazing art
I agree! I love using scraps.

I thoroughly enjoy watching your work. The fabric used is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
this is super cute but the music is very uncomfortable to listen to. I do like the show-and-not-tell aspect of your video! Well done !!
Thank you
I agree, nice video ❤ but music in the beginning is stressig.
I just switch the music down if I don't like it
The music is deafening
I always have the music off as a habit, just watch the work 😊
That's adorable
Thanks! 😊
Very nice !!!
Thanks!
Que telas mas bonitas!! Intentare hacer este cuadrito 😊❤

I hope slow stitching will help you with your recovery. It’s like meditation and that is good for your mind. Stay positive!
Fabulous, I am really inspired to make these lovely pieces of art. Thank you.. x
Thanks! I hope you do! 😊
Thank you so much for that video. I'm just about to start on a slow stitch kit I got for Christmas and you've shown me the way to do so much. 😊❤😊
I hope you had fun with your kit. Thanks for watching!
Lovely, thank you for the inspiration.
Thanks for watching!
Thankyou for this video. My grandson wants to start slow stitching with me. Something this size will be a perfect way to start. 👏🌻🦋
That’s amazing! What a fun thing to do with your grandson. 😊
How adorable is this? ❤
Thank you!
Gorgeous landscape 💕 given me lots of ideas of different stitches to use on mine, thank you 😊
Wonderful! Thanks for watching!

@@JoanSouthworthyou’re very sweet. 🥰 Thank you for your kind comments. Best to just not engage with negative people.
Amazing beautiful piece of art . Thank you for sharing
Thank you! Cheers!
This is just gorgeous ❤so I guess keep your little scraps.😊
Absolutely! Thread scraps make good bird nests and even the smallest fabric scraps are good for stuffing things like pin cushions.
Beautiful! Well done 👏 Louise and Emily ❤
Thank you 😊
I really like that piece, so cute
Thanks!
This came out amazing.
Thank you!
Beautiful! Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you! Cheers!
Love it.
Thanks!
Not fond of the music but love what you made!
Thanks!
For some reason, Perhaps the sky this piece reminds me of Scream by Edvard Munch? What an artistic eye you have.
It kind of does now that you mention it. Thanks for watching!

Can you make one with rain. Thank you Charlotte Québec
I probably could. Maybe using little shiny beads as rain drops.
This is a great tutorial and perfect for showing how to make the various stitches. Are you using sewing thread or embroidery floss? Also, what type pen are you using for marking that disappears? Thanks for the great video!
I use a combination of threads and flosses. I show the spool or skein in the videos before I stitch with them. The pens are Frixion heat erase pens.
@@cookingjennfer Thank you so much. Love your work!
Are you using canvas duck cloth?
I’m not sure what that is but if you’re referring to the base fabric it’s a piece of thrifted cloth napkin. ☺️
Great! Thanks so much! Beautiful work!
How do u make your base fabric stiff ?
You can buy stiff felt. I prefer the regular craft felt though. The stiff one is harder to stitch through.
The music is so annoying. But the work is perfect.
Thank you.
Great video. Horrible background music. Had to turn sound off in order to watch
please please turn off that awful head splitting music
You can mute the sound if you wish.
I like your content, but your music makes me nervous….sorry
It gets better. This is an older video. 😉
Your pieces are always so beautiful. I am struggling to do pictures for some reason.💜⛟💜⛟💜
Thanks! Maybe you can try making them a little bigger? Or use some iron in adhesive to hold the smaller pieces down.
