- This thing was in shambles when I first got it. Very dirty and full of cobwebs, missing screws, dangling cables etc. now that Its all cleaned up and has a new cpu. What do you guys think I should do with it? keep it or sell it? Enjoy! (lets see if you can stand with 33 mins of me being dumb 🫠)

That board was really pricey back then. MSRP of $399 the ASUS Striker II Extreme. $399 in 2008 equals $582.72 in 2024.
Gosh thats very pricey! something I would never be able to afford if it was new lol.
@@Theutmostgeek Yeah it was pretty pricey for its time. I really love the copper used on it.
That's a really nice looking Board
@@7pips Indeed it is! Wish they still made them like this.
@@Theutmostgeek for sure, 2005 - 2010 was my favorite era of computer tech.
@@7pips agreed man. So much happened in that era with some of the wackiest stuff also coming out then.
I want one of those motherboards! I think that quadro is about a 750ti
@@thej3799 I had no idea this mobo was so desirable! Techpowerup says that its basically a gtx 680 with less shader units.
Quick look: 33m, Gaming machine: Quadro card... I've seen enough...
Fair enough. Theres a reason I mentioned it being an ex-gaming rig. Its radeon card from 2011 had been destroyed in shipping. And theres no way im putting my 1070 or anything better in it.
tell to that motherboard name please ?
