- Am I the only one who wants this song be released officially with new Korean lyrics in Jin's solo album??
Epiphany has always be THAT song that has a special place in my heart as it was the FIRST BTS song I heard and Jin's voice (and yes his visual) started my descent down the BTS Rabbit hole. To hear this demo version solidifies my belief that Jin is just as talented as his other members in song composing. It has a totally different vibe, but the same emotional pull of the released version.

When I heard Jin's version of Epiphany, I somehow understand why he said his version was very different from Bang PD's. Jin's realization was the impact of ARMY's love for him which literally saved him from himself, making him love himself more. While the released version is a realization of himself putting himself or loving himself first.
I love Seokjin's voice. He is totally amazing. I believe he should polish his original song (this demo) and put it in his new album. I am so impressed that he wrote a song, all in English for the 🌎 to hear. He is truly talented!💜❤

This is a demo so the lyrics were placeholder. Priority was the melody. Since the Bang PD version was selected to be released, lyrics in this demo version were no longer touched and recording was raw. Hope this be released as a new single - Epiphany 2.0 (Lullaby) or included in his solo album. For sure, lyrics will be polished and high quality recording. Since this is Jin's original and own melody, it is so special to him and kept it. Took the opportunity to include it in the Proof album. Thank you Jin for keeping your version all these years and sharing it with us. This is truly a special song for the army. this is now called #Jinpiphany to distinguish from the released version and I call this as the original!

I feel that it's very obvious that Jin worked more on this himself. It fits so perfectly in his vocal range and enables him to really use his voice to express emotion. I absolutely love it and yes, we definitely need him to write some beautiful Korean lyrics to this gorgeous melody. 💜

You're definitely not flying solo on wanting Jin's version released but hearing it in English (with his original) is over the moon with emotion and the way he uses his voice is about the best I've heard from him. Love this version.

indeed. people did not know that the released version years ago was not Jin's but Bang PD's. this demo version is the real and original melody made by Jin so it is so special to him and made sure it be included in this album. I am pretty sure he would include this in his solo album. Response to this demo was really overwhelming so it only deserves to be released. Just needs to polish the lyrics (which is normally done) and the high quality recording.

I love this raw version. And the lyrics being cut makes total sense when someone is going through the highs and lows of love. You are definitely not having complete coherent thoughts that would be easily placed on paper.
Also remember he is thinking in Korean so it may make more sen e on that language than in English.

It is hard not to compare. I would have to listen to the demo again....I'm not sure about the lyrics either. I'm sure they're meaningful to Jin, but maybe I'm missing something. I don't mind that it's in English, but maybe you're right, maybe if he sang this demo in his native tongue it would have demonstrated more emotion. Thank you for sharing.
