I guess I'll throw in my speculation of what this song is about as well... Basically, it is a song about a girl whose relationship has become a burden and is not as strong as it needs to be in order to thrive. Even though she can not remember what their love used to be like and their relationship is fading, she still harbors feelings for the guy and refuses to let the relationship go- hoping that these dying feelings are not real or true. She wants the pain to go away, but she eventually just comes to accept that their love is fading. Still, she wants to keep the relationship because she is not strong enough to end it and wants to feel true love again. However, she does nothing to fix it and their relationship deteriorates until it's too late. When she talks about "wishing it woud just die", I personally feel she does not mean it literally. Rather, she is referring to her feelings of love for the guy. She wishes her love would die because their is nothing left in their relationship, and everything would be so much easier if she just did not love him. The last chorus is the saddest part, imo. The girl is fully aware of the situation, but she can never cut off their relationship because she will always be a cowardly montblanc. In the end we can assume that things did not work out and generally ended badly, emotionally scarring the girl... (which leads to the plot of Mozaik Role!) Heh, sorry this is long. Both songs are beautiful but also quite different despite one being the continuation of the other. No. They were together but she felt that they were not good together, so it would be better to break up. But she still loves his sweet side. She is too much of a coward to break up. So she forgets what they were together, who her love is and for how long this was going on. If he would die, she wouldn't have to break up, but thst was just a thought. In the end she wants to tell him so much so they could break up, but he already seems too distant to understand that. So she just shuts up.

Some of the new song are good too but it could never give me the same feels like the old songs does. I would say the songs from 2009 - 2012 were the best years of vocaloid songs. As a guy who've been listening to vocaloid song sang by Vocaloids and Utaite Singers for 10-11 years, I wish I could go back to those days.

coming back to this, i think it’s my alltime favorite vocaloid song. i left a comment here eight years ago when i was twelve talking about how gumi’s my favorite. crazy how after all of these years and that still stands for me. this is such a beautiful song with an absolutely banging chorus that i can never forget.

Naaah Miku ' s original voice is to high pitched, I do like Miku's dark append....but Gumi is better as far as voices go.

She became annoyed at her own feelings, and told him to die, and because he DID in fact love her back, he committed suicide! So then Gumi does some stuff, maybe she kills herself too? No. They were together but she felt that they were not good together, so it would be better to break up. But she still loves his sweet side. She is too much of a coward to break up. So she forgets what they were together, who her love is and for how long this was going on. If he would die, she wouldn't have to break up, but thst was just a thought. In the end she wants to tell him so much so they could break up, but he already seems too distant to understand that. So she just shuts up.

It’s almost been 13 years since this song came out, huh? It was one of the first vocaloid songs I heard and the first I fell in love with. It’s incredible to see how far Deco*27 has come, but also the fact that his early stuff still holds up!

@@reflectlight1368 Of course, I just feel like listening to the older Vocaloid songs rather than the new ones. It's difficult to describe it but the older Vocaloid songs gives me this special feels. Some of the new song are good too but it could never give me the same feels like the old songs does. I would say the songs from 2009 - 2012 were the best years of vocaloid songs. As a guy who've been listening to vocaloid song sang by Vocaloids and Utaite Singers for 10-11 years, I wish I could go back to those days.
@@HamaguriSensei Yeah I totally get what you mean. Its the same for me aswell. Back then we were young and probably didnt think it would influence us that much. Well at least for me it did. I listen to a lot of different genres but I think especially the older vocaloid songs, I will always listen to cuz they remind me of so many old memories hehe.
