He really doesn’t look bad. They were touring and living in the bus and the facial hair style also adds to the disheveled look. He could have looked like a million bucks with a little clean up.

I ve watched a bunch of interviews of Warrel and I dont remember him looking so happy in any other. Ive got a feeling that the guy was finally passing by his issues, depressive tendencies, alchoolism etc, and finally finding some balance and peace. I think he was entering a new phase, a healthier and brighter era. Unfortunately this fucking life is such a bitch that he died now. I cried for an hour when I heard the news. I will miss him so so so much. Never got the chance to see him live.
He's actually super intoxicated right here. I just spent the last two years around my drunk to death mom(she got sober!. It literally is the same person; talking over people, ranting, the lil hiccup type things going on, and that super bloated deathly complexion. I've been around alcoholics for soo long. Its like super simple to tell right here, like I'm 100% for sure on it unfortuntely. Poor Warrel..RIP ya god

He wasn’t happy at all he was en empath. He was consumed by all the misery he and people around him have experienced. It ruined him. He also loved to overthink everything in a deeply philosophical sense.
WARREL DANE is a legendary vocalist, he is a high octane singer and put out really great HEAVY METAL albums. his music will last an eternity, we need a REVIVAL of good music rip WARREL DANE. LONG LIVE HEAVY METAL...it is ready to break out anytime now!!!
Unreal. This is so sad, what a huge talent. If they do release his last solo album with different singers I hope they get Eric AK from Flotsam. He would do Warrel justice.
I agree with Warrel that you can still be a tough strong Heavy Metal fan, but you can also still love cats and dogs. I have been a major huge fan of Heavy Metal for over thirty years and have had 5 different cats in that time also. I really love that he showed this side of him because it shows even more that he had a good heart and was a great guy. To this day I have never heard a stronger voice than Warrel's, especially Sanctuary's debut album Refuge Denied album. His singing on that album was PHENOMENAL!! I hate that I never got to see Sanctuary with Warrel Dane as their singer. I saw them open up for Iced Earth a few years ago and it was a great show, but I can only imagine how amazing it was when Warrel Dane was still singing , especially in the late 80's. He is most definitely a LEGEND.
