  • Throughout history and still today, communication has been a tool of the powerful for both good and bad. It's also crucial in all of our daily lives: in the workplace, in our personal relationships and, more than ever, online. How can we communicate better? And how can we make that a force for positive change? Author Charles Duhigg explores this question in his new book, "Supercommunicators,” and he discusses what he’s learned with Walter Isaacson.

What a delightful conversation. Charles’ thoughts on us learning to get better at understanding the rules of digital communication were truly heartening!
This also helped me understand why I love the feeling of a very well connected 1:1 conversation.
Outstanding, thank you so much Charles and Walter!

He's too good! Too good at communicating. And those strange red shifts disconcerted me to no end. I hope to read this.

Souls are troops collected together and those who familiarised with each other would have affinity, with one another and those amongst them who opposed each other would also be divergent
I read it in Islamic book

0:03 …expletives? Did I hear that correctly? Provocative. Do tell…
8:10 really? …hmmm, perhaps the question of country and flag and when a republic’s born, dies or changes spots and/or stripes isn’t that interesting yet or ever in our life time? What’s… but, it’s still a monologue. No one’s interested enough. Check back when we’re sleeping.
8:57 or, will you believe me when I, a layperson, tells you that cancer’s a big white lie?
10:29 having a great conversation feels so good, also or almost as good even when one’s only engaging in it passively - as a remote viewer? I feel that. But, not quite brave enough to say I think it. I haven’t studied it, have I? …feeling it isn’t only easier and safer, we can also minimize our already snobbish tendencies by showing a little humility from time to time.
    11:12 it totally is!!! 🤭
17:33 including the right to use expletives, across the board. Let’s not quibble and digress, for fs. Because, you grew up puritanical on one side of the tracks and I wilder than a hippie on another side. Do you mind? Christian black, white, latino, asian or indigenous who have you, suburbanite to much more well off hypocrites.

…?…the glitch in the voice of Mr. Duhigg while responding „Thank you for having me.“ instantly made me feel uncomfortable. followed (unwillingly) by the thought:: … „Supercommunicator“ - another manual for digital resources’ diggers tofurthermore exploiting truth? - like „land developers buying burned Maui earth?
Amanpour& Company - Thank you Walter for your bravery ; your stance is the best role model „Supercommunicators“ might have (or at least should aim for achieving))✨🪷
