Ken Andrews is the backing guitarist here but he's the frontman for a space rock/alternative/grunge band called Failure, and a really successful and renowned record producer. He actually mixed this song for the film - the recording wasn't working so they gave it to him on very short notice and he made it sound fantastic! He's a great singer and is spot on as a supporting musician here. I don't know the other musicians but would guess they're just those elite session musicians you call for performances like this.

Might not get a lot of agreement here, but having listened to both, I prefer the Q The Music version.
It's always the same, isn't it? Why can't we look at things deeper than surface level, instead of just having the mindset of "new bad, old good". That said, I do love this theme. That and Skyfall are my favourites.
@@wildkarrde0412 I think they're both good for different reasons. You Know My Name Feels more like a "new" style bond theme to me, No Time To Die feels more classic.
@@drewfuss2006 I think he was slightly flat, especially in the verses. Which he would have got away with if they chose not to have the band backing sing. That backing singing didn't work at all. Chris had a powerful voice, but he works best when he can just do his own thing. Those harmonies were pretty bad, in the second verse he even slips into the backing harmony by mistake

Sung by one of the best rock vocalists of all time. RIP CHRIS AND JAMES. F**k 2021

i think it just doesnt sound as good as the song

The best bond theme ❤❤❤
RIP Chris. Master job. Among the best Bond themes. Absolutely epic and unforgettable.

RIP Chris Cornell. Music world lost such a great singer
That was extraordinary. Definitely the best Craig era theme song and one of the best of the whole series.
Still gives me chills. ❤️
One of the very best themes of the series.
Such a great singer, my favourite JB song. What a loss to music.
Besides the goosebumps I think this song is sexy!! Love it! R.I.P Chris 😢 you gave Bond something else!

Holy shit that guy playing bass and keyboard.
And backup vocals in some parts too.
And making the beats rock is Nir Z.

Chris, you are on fire here.
Time when Chris was with us, Jay Leno was still in his prime and Daniel Craig was freshly started his first and best Bond film.

Vocals and lyrics on this track - deadly. Such a talent.
Best Bond theme EVER from probably the best Bond film!

At least before he died he got to sing an AWESOME song.

the lyrics are badadss though and it fits perfectly with craig's more ruthless version of the character

It fits the tone of a fresh, energetic & brash Bond.
Also the lyrics fit his character very well.
