- Guys I spent $1600 on WWE card breaks during the release window of 2024 WWE Prizm. I want to take time in this video to go through everything that I purchased and break down the value of what was pulled. It is so easy to lose track of what you guys in card breaks these days. All of these WWE card breaks were done on Whatnot over the span of 4 days. Enjoy!
Respect to you for your honesty with this. So many just hide with the failures of breaks. Keep the content rolling
Thank you 🙏🏽
The reality of breaking.
Fantastic video, I’m glad someone has pointed out the reality of breaking with at least somewhat of a sample size to show what to expect realistically. Anytime someone questions how profitable breaking is on social media the breakers jump in to defend and glorify it. I’m not saying breaking is bad, I love doing it and consider it a form of gambling which can also be fun. But, there is no way over a long period of time you’ll ever get close to breaking even doing breaks. I just think people should be aware of what is most likely going to happen which I think there are a lot of them who do not. Anyway, great channel, look forward to seeing your videos when they come out.
Thanks, I really appreciate you watching. I totally agree that breaks are great in moderation. Definitely fun but the house usually wins
Great video. As someone who went similarly crazy in Prizm for my PC, I needed to get lucky SUBSTANTIALLY to get close to breaking even (hitting a Gold Shimmer, a true Gold, a Gold Auto, and Gold Insert). Boxes in themselves will be losing bets and the breaker as the house makes that margin better. A case may have 15-20 hits to pay off a spot and 250 spots to sell. Very good stuff.
Thanks for watching, happy to hear you hit on multiple golds. If I didn’t hit that Bron gold shimmer I would’ve really been in pain 🤣
KOOL SESSION BUDDY. HAVE A BLESSED EVENING. ALOHA
This is a great video. Super realistic. Love seeing the breakdown. Only thing you missed was breaking down the prices of the spots. Would have been interesting. For 1600 your take back was pretty low. I thought I would have seen more shimmers and numbered. I collect lower guys too which makes me not feel as bad when I skunk. But I can only imagine the guys that buy the big names. Keep up the great work on the videos.
Thanks man, I thought about adding the spot prices but a bunch were bundled together, I feel like it would’ve been confusing. The shimmers were my primary focus in these breaks as most of them were FOTL cases. But odds weren’t in my favor I guess.
Very very honest and appreciate you letting people know the reality of breaking and entering breaks
Great video! Thanks for the ROI breakdown from the breaks very insightful. I've started to buy singles myself, not as fun as breaks and rips and no dopeamine high but can get exactly what you want for cheaper.
Yeah that is where I am headed, I will still break on the cheaper spots but my Bron collection will get much better with me just buying exactly what I want.
I'm not much for breaks but I totally get why they're so popular. Strong group of guys you PC. Pretty Deadly are incredible heat magnets. Breakker is an absolute monster beast of a man. He sounds like Uncle Scotty without fumbling & stuttering through his promos. Not as jacked as his uncle, built more like his dad but the intensity & athleticism is off the freaking charts. That company is loaded with amazing young talent but none of em can match what young Steiner is bringing. The way that dude gets a head of steam going into the spear is absolute insanity...he looks like hes literally breakkin a fool. And the way he threw Sami over the barricade into the wall was absofrickinlutely crazy. When a guy like Sami is taking stuff like that for you it's pretty clear what he thinks of Bron as a talent & he's going above & beyond to make him look like an absolute wrecking machine
Thanks for watching. I am really high on Bron so I decided to start collecting him right away. I’ve never done that because you never know if someone is going to work out but things are definitely looking up for him. I waited until Pretty Deadly moved from NXT UK to NXT 2.0 before I started collecting them. I needed to know the company was really behind them I guess haha
Such a great and honest vid. Appreciate it.
MAD RESPECT for making this video! I love your channel!
Appreciate it man
Love your content and your honesty. Keep up the good work. Got a new sub here
I really appreciate it
Really respect this video. Really nice look into the reality of card breaks. I spend a ton and I collect mid tier guys and stalk breaks to find the guys I want at the very possible cheapest prices I can get. But either way, you’re gonna lose money most of the time. Only thing I would have added to this video is the discussion about the entertainment standpoint of the money you’re spending. Chances are it is providing you a few hours of entertainment a day - yes you could have similar entertainment and save your money - but for a lot of the buyers on there who can afford it, they enjoy the entertainment as part of the process. I just mention that to say that the one thing that rarely gets discussed is how this is a great way to be entertained.
Thanks for the feedback. There is definitely an entertainment and community aspect to these breaks. I’ve met quite a few folks through card streams.
Man this was so real! I appreciate the video and most of all I appreciate your honest brother🙏
I appreciate you
I'm going to watch every minute of this even though my mind and body are screaming at me to turn it off and run! Doesn't hit close to home it blows off my front door! 😂
🤣 I still cant believe I swiped on that many spots.
I thought I went crazy spending around 200 on breaks. You did get some nice cards though. The breakdown on this was awesome. Well put together. Great video. This lays everything out for people to actually stop for a moment, slow down, and see what you can expect from breaks. People (including myself) can learn from this. I’ll still be entering breaks in the future but will make some adjustments based off my experience with 2024 Prizm so far. Good stuff man.
@@KurtCurtis Thanks Kurt, I spent $12 so far pre buying undercard spots. I like that number a lot more haha
I mean…..you went all in on Noam Dar. Can’t expect to retire early on that investment lol.
Haha facts
I love breaking cards but the reality isnt always that great. Thanks for being honest and sharing!
Getting at least half back is still good for a hobby.
100% truth on any type of break.
Great video as always! I get into breaks from time to time and assume I will do average but hope for the best. It is a different feeling pulling a hit or getting it in a break as opposed to just buying the single fully agree on that just not as cost effective 😅
Undercard is coming this weekend but I am going light lol
Some great additions to your PC, Brotha! 👍🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely, so many duplicates
Watching this made my jaw drop 😅. Can’t believe you spent so much
Bruh…you and me both
How did I come across a video of someone thinking the exact same thing as me 😅😅
Something must be in the water haha
Spots seem way too expensive for those names.
Your numbers are actually off just a bit. First set should be $303 (I think you added the $15 twice for the Mania /40's), and the second set was $524 (not exactly sure where the math got off here). So actual total is $827 or 51.7% return.
Thanks for verifying the numbers on this. The Manias were $15 a price for a total of $30 so there was a typo on the graphic. I felt my voice hesitate when I read it (watching it back). I have no clue how I tallied $563 though. I will double check it on the next go round as I am sure Select will reel me in…..🙄
If you are referencing Whatnot with breaks you need to take into consideration the prices the seller is using, every breaker is different and will charge a different price dependant on their following, audience and morals
I'm a whatnot seller and it's a battleground with other sellers no matter what boxes your breaking or packs that you're selling 😂 people get jealous when your selling better than them, then it's a race to the bottom.
It's great for buyers but crap if you wanna make money sometimes
I am totally aware, I’ve sold quite a bit on Whatnot myself. The wrestlers I collect are low to mid card males mainly so prices across the board are pretty much the same outside of Bron Breakker. The singles market is far better than the break market on Whatnot. It seems like you are getting steals when a $5 spot hits a big card but those spots are $5 for a reason.
🤩
