Thank you for doing a house overview, Sebastian and Joe! I love this house, it's so chic and sophisticated. Not a bad one in the bunch except I can't wear George - it's too green and bitter for me. My top 3 are Sebastian, Vladimir and Kar-Wai (named after Hong Kong film director Wong Kar-Wai, who directed "In the Mood for Love") . Forgive Me is a very sensual, incensey and resinous fragrance. More dry than sweet, actually. And the bottles are gorgeous! If any of your viewers are interested in sampling all 7 Lovers, I got a travel set with 10 mls of each for the best price at Bloom Perfumery. I could really test them out before ordering a full bottle. Well worth it to own all! 💜💗♥
Kar Wai is a hong kong movie director. Kar Wai blew my mind when I tested it. I personally find the scent very warm due to the tea and osmanthus notes.
Kar-wai might be after Wong Kar-Wai and Vladimir is Carin's son name. I mean lovers might mean someone she loves like son and her favourite film director not a romantic lover necessarily, idk.

Recently found out about this brand & received a few samples from a friend. I love the DNA of the house, my favorites are Lawrence & Vladimir. Thnx for shining some light on them, they absolutely deserve it.
My top three are Sebastian, Vladimir, Larence. I've been looking for another Tuberose fragrance in my collection that's not necessarily Tuberose heavy but plays nicely with the Tuberose in a balanced way. Sebastian fills that void. Iris is my favorite note, so Vladimir is a no-brainer for me. Finally, Jasmin has always been challenging to me due to its indole nature, but Lawrence combines the Jasmin with some heavy hitters, namely Oud and Musk, that masks the indole of the Jasmin and allows me to enjoy the sweet and green nature of the Jasmin instead.

I picked up ‘’Carine’’, based on your previous review, Sebastian, and I really love it (plus I’m a fan of Dominic Ropion as well)! Will have to check out the others when I can. ❤
I am looking forward to this review! I bought Kar-Wai and Aurelien early this year and am in love with them but have not seen too many reviews at all. Been wearing them almost nonstop since I first got to try them in December. I also have testers of Carine and Orson, but neither grabbed me like the other two I have.
I also HATED cilantro, thought it tasted like soap and chemicals. After forcing myself to eat it for health benefits, I love it now. Funny how that happens...
Yes funny how that happens. But honestly it took me so long to love the taste and tolerate the smell. There was a strange incident of frog legs and cilantro being cooked once by family and I was mid teens and the smell of the cilantro was so so strong it was nauseating. It took me at least 15 or so years to get past that smelly incident for me to appreciate the stuff! LOL.
What?? She was apart of the dream team at Gucci, made French Vogue more interesting than the Anerican Version, still does consulting work for designers and you compare her to Paris Hilton???
