Thanks so much. Been an Admin for years and just couldn't take not knowing this anymore! One issue was the large space between the 3 rows: Name, Address, City, State, Zip but that's for another day.
Any advice how to update the labels if you were to save, then add more to the spreadsheet. For example if I have a client list and create these labels and save as a word doc. When I add 100 more clients do I need to start a new one or can I simply update the existing word label file? Thanks!
Thank you! can you only do 30 addresses at a time? I have a mailing list of about 150 and when I get to Finish and Merge my Microsoft freezes. I made another excel with just 30 and it worked. Is there a way to do more?
Nice... Easy .. EXCEPT that when printing, by the bottom of the page ... the text is no longer aligned with the label. and Microsoft Help is NO HELP! I am using Avery 8161 label and template. (Actually, the first row of labels ride "low" to the label and the text bottom labels ride high. Are the margins wrong in the template that mage it go wrong?

I would like to use them as am setting up my files finally and I am a senior and not great at computer stuff. Is there any way to be able to use them I have Windows 10 on my computer. I would really appreciate any help you can offer.

If I have 30 labels and I only need 3 specific addresses, do I need to fill 30 areas in order to get all labels covered or just 3?

Whoops .. Never mind ... I had a "print to fit" setting in my printer driver that was ignoring all actual settings! Problem SOLVED

That depends on your printer. Look at your printer to see if the sheet should go content up or content down.

I dealt with the same problem today. I had to adjust the size of the text in Xcel. Afterwords, I centered the text in Word. Frustrating for sure...
