Thanks for the video. I made the mistake of having Halfords replace bulbs last year. Took it to a proper garage this month to replace the bulbs with better ones and they told us the old bulbs weren’t even clipped in place. Shocking job by Halfords. Never again.
Giulietta's with xenon lights have auto-adjustment through sensors on the axles. They measure how far the car squats down on the axles and adjust the beam. The automatic adjustment of xenon lights is mandatory in some country's. You can see the headlight beams move on start-up if you park close to a wall. Just turn the ignition to the first stop, turn on the headlights and start the car. They move up, down and side to side quite a bit.
This is for when towing. Due to the extra weight on the back, causing the car to squat, you can move the lights down to a reasonable level, to avoid dazzling oncoming vehicles.
Good to see you again Tony! A have a question for you. I saw in your video that the small matrix screen in the dashboard, shows the outside temperature with .5 measurement. I own a 19 model diesel giulietta and it doesn't have this "half" measurement like yours. Have you done anything from the obd or it just came like that from the factory? Thanks in advance
Hi, I appreciate your information for this item, quite helpful. I have an issue with my Giulietta multi function display, it lights up briefly on start up then fades from view, so I can’t see any items whilst driving. I believe there is a dimmer option to Set, but without any level of illumination, I can’t see to adjust, any ideas?
Hi, apologies for taking ages to respond. Are you referring to the display in the centre of the dash? if so, then i'm not sure i can help as i dont have it. However, using the same menu buttons in this video, if you go in to the menu there is an option for "Dimmer" which may adjust the brightness of the screen too. Worth a shot. All the best 👍
Hello i have a question about displays. I have the standard display and want to change it with reconfigurable one. Is the reconfigurable one plug and play? Any info would be appreciated.
Can someone help me if he has the same problem..giulietta diesel 2018 from nowhere the settings that adjust the lights lost from menu it doesn’t sawed to me anymore and I can’t put lights higher or lower
The dipped beams on the Giulietta are useless and I used to drive around with them set to 0 most of the time. If you do set them to 0 then expect to get flashed constantly by oncoming drivers thinking you’ve got your high beams on. I actually failed an MOT as well for having the dipped beams set too high 🙄
We have both Versions of the Headlights in the Family. I honestly can't recommend the Bi Xenon enough, the adaptive cornering and brighter bulbs itself make a difference as night and day. We exchanged the standard Halogen lights for LED which already make a huge difference but still Not comparable to Xenon. If you're looking for a Giulietta as a daily and you're living countryside with a Lot of B Road driving Go for the Xenons. In the City where theres more light even at night the normal Halogen are enough.
Tony, i need you help. I have a loose connection for the temperature gauge on my dash 0/90/130 aqua ⁰c. What wire is it? It comes on and then when i break sometimes it turns off. It should be lit while the lights are on. Im loosing my mind with it
Hi. Have a look on the channel for ‘removing the dials’ or something like that. It’s only a single plug that feeds the unit if I remember right. I know some of these suffer from poor soldering on the PCB. Yours may be one of them ☹️. Have a look at the video and hope it helps. All the best 👍

I think mine has these, because it also has that Auto headlight swivel, when hitting the corners, so I'm always to light the way ahead.

So, should it be at "0" default?
Good to see you again Tony!

Hi and thanks. My display is standard and has always displayed .5 increments. Hope that helps. All the best 👍

Are you talking about the tachometer display or entertainment? Either way I’m not sure to be perfectly honest. Apologies. All the best 👍

Hello. As far as I know it’s all internal to the light. They are connected to the “CAN bus” so would make sense. All the best 👍

I can only adjust mine with the buttons so can’t help further but m afraid. All the best 👍

Is it better to buy a Giulietta with bi-xenon adaptive headlights ?
Most likely yes. I've never had a G with them personally, so can't comment 100%. All the best 👍
We have a 147GTA with xenon lights. Good until something goes wrong, then they are expensive to fix. But worth it. 👀
