Mate, a really good video to watch 👍Couple of nice bream 😀 Those ferry terminals are certainly an oasis on a rainy day. Lots of structure too, maybe the odd jewie lurking about. Try tying on 2 grubz sp's using a 3 way swivel. Double the action. Cheers.

wharf fishing soft plastics can be abit hard sometimes, usually only catch a big yakka that could gulp down the lure lol, its still for some reason one of the most enjoyable for me though as its more rewarding when you get a bream etc. Loving the heaven sound when you had to bring the big game watermelon red slim swimz out

Great video 👌! Shroom what is your go to for winter fishing. I'm just back from 5 hours at narrabeen lake. Soft plastics and surface lures, not a single bite! 😁😂🤣
Grub lures for the winter, especially in the day. Options open up at night. Blades always do well in winter if you can not lose them to snags. The surface bite is still there but it's definitely slow

Yes it will. It's a softer action but by no means does it stop you from using it for plastics or squid

Haha me too N Brownie! Crackity CRACK! lol. About Saddleback syndrome, it's a tough one. I believe it is genetic as reported in scientific paper for yellowfin bream. For other species like Telapia which also experience this, there was a genetic link found which adds to this hypothesis. A very popular belief is that this deformity arises from injury due to netting. I have no doubt it may be responsible for some of this as well

Last time i went i was catching undersized tailor all night its plague proportion of them lol good practice for setting the hook on plastics & its Russian roulette if you dont cut you off bring old rubbers you never use lol ...
Oh yes at night, if you want to get some target practice, there are hordes of them. They like taking hardbodies there which can be fun but gotta make sure they don't steal the lure lol
Hey Shroom what rod are you using? Any advice for good sp rod?
I'm using an Edge Black Widow 6-8lb 7'. A good sp rod is a fast actioned graphite/carbon fibre rod of 7' in length and either 1-3kg or 2-4kg in line class

I do leave lures rigged up sometimes but gotta be careful. 1 piece rods do fit in every car I've seen, sometimes you have to put then through the boot, other times just in the passenger side seat Rob
