What is the deal with McMath? Two open goals scored in two weeks? On a side note, that second goal from Anderson Julio was ridiculous! What an amazing shot.
The open goal from the previous week wasn't MacMath's fault. He was essentially playing as another defender to allow the defense to create space with their passes (something he has done many times). He had no reason to believe that Brody would make the mistake of passing the ball right to a Colorado player. He tracked back as fast as he could, and had he been just a couple of seconds quicker then he would have saved it. If we have to assign blame, that would be on Brody.
That said, both Brody and MacMath have been solid for most of the year. So I wouldn't worry much about those goals until we see it become a trend.

How RSL pulled that off, while also trying to give it away (freaking MacMath), is beyond me. Coming back from being down multiple goals twice in a row is incredible. Well played, RSL!

RSL need a more consistent keeper. MacMath makes some great saves and then lets some howlers in.

Those 2 goals that were Goalies fault were inexcusable!! RSL should be looking at bringing in another keeper because MacMath is costing us points with these fundamental errors.
Time to bench him and give Gavin Beavers some time. Beavers has potential to being great. MacMath is washed up and inconsistent. Time to say goodbye to him.

Honestly, Maarten Paes is one of the best goalkeepers in the MLS league, but unfortunately he is accompanied by a cute defender , in contrast to the RLS team with a bad goalkeeper but supported by good defenders. Looks like I have to exchange this player. 😂

This is twice in two straight games he comes way off his line and like an idiot gives up a goal in each game. Last game he was lucky they won, this one he gave up a potential win. You think he would’ve learned his lesson last week, but no. He needs to benched and needs to go. Put Beavers in.

Dallas' first goal was a mistake by the defender who didn't close the ball properly, the second conceded was pure RLS rocket kick skill, conceded 3 Dallas players' stupidity had piled up a lot but couldn't respond to block the flat kick that blocked goalkeeper Maarten Paes

Should’ve been 3 or 4-0 RSL. Those mistakes in goal cost us 2 points. I will say I’m loving watching the team this year-they never give up, are always hustling, and constantly fighting for all 90 minutes. I’ll be at the game next week and I hope they keep this up for another W against Austin.

That’s 3 games now where McMath has costed RSL points. The LAFC game in stoppage robbed them of the win, last week he had an embarrassing out of pocket goal. And today he had 2 horrendous decisions. That robbed RSL of yet another win. What’s going on with him?
