Thank you for this reminder, my daughter passed away last Feb 2023 and it was the shock and heartbreak no one wants to have to go through, the amount of people who go onto me about when am i going back to work is awful, a friend did say well maybe God wants you ro recover and that resonated with me so much, I go down to a little pond where I live and just sit there, I am so heartbroken and weary and I need this time to see and understand and believe again after my whole world was rocked, and its a shame today people are so distracted by so many things that will one day just fade away and not even count, I love that peaceful place to breath and no one say a word to me or justify myself or even think, and just be me in this very demanding world. I hope this encourages others to do the same and not seek approval or justification, Jesus withdrew from the maddening crowds.
I am so sorry to hear about your daughter; I can't even begin to imagine the pain and heartache and doubt you must be feeling. I thank God for that pond, that literal quiet water he has led you to. God knows what you need in this time, and I am praying right now that you will continue to feel his leading in this time of recovery. Thank you for sharing. You have encouraged and challenged me today; I am very guilty of feeling that I must keep achieving and doing things, when stopping to spend time with Father God is by far the most important thing.
I am praying for you. May God give you supernatural comfort in this time of grieving. I recently lost my Mother who lived with me for many years. Take time. Allow all the feelings. Trust God does heal hearts. ❤🙏.
I am sorry for your loss. In my struggles I've done the very same. Nature is not man made but the result of our Fathers Love and creativity. He speaks to me as I get alone in the mountains by flowing streams listening to the breeze as it blows through the trees. They sing to me. Sooth me. Calm me. Free me from man made noises. Methods. Etc. Jesus becomes very real to me and his Holy spirit fill me with peace. Assurance. Healing. Your words are and will be a comfort to many that are hurting. Thank you for sharing such a private/personal thing from your life. ❤🤠
Thank you. 3 He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. - Psa. 23: 3 You are correct that Psalms 23 is about the Life that is produced when led by God (the Holy Spirit), even as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death. We become righteous, gain courage, are comforted, and experience never-ending goodness and mercy. This is the Life in Jesus Christ, who is all of that.
The Lord has been showing me and giving me such revelation that He is the Shepherd. He is our leader, it is in Him we trust and listen to His voice alone. Be led by Him.
