"Wow" yep you said it 😄 from the opening guitar riff to the last snare hit this is a pure firecracker of a tune from a unicorn of a rock band - the one the only Band Maid, viva the Maids peace and love Po 👍🎼🥁🎤🎸🍻
The Non-Fiction Days use to be their go-to closer. When the song ended, the Maids would give Miku her few seconds to say goodbye, bow, and then all quickly walk off stage. The crowd felt like they'd been run over by a speeding freight train of awesomeness. It all felt so good and the fans wanted more! But they were leaving... until next time! Thx, Drummer Girl!
One of my favourite Band Maid songs ...... okay so I've got over 100 favourite Band Maid songs, what can I say?
I must have heard this about 30 times before I realised the words "non-fiction days" are sung all through the chorus.

One reactor was so awed by BAND-MAID they said "They shot this in a friggin' desert". It was an easy mistake to make what with all the sea in the background.🤷♂️

I think that reactor was right, Gary. That water was just a mirage... and that thing that extended out into the mirage in the far background was a fallen oil derrick. All all that sand... and the windmills... Naw, that was desert, man. Right? 🤔🐪🐪

Idk what one ok rock does at the beginning of whichever song, but the guitar sound at the beginning is straight out of Hoobastank’s Crawling in the Dark which is why this song feels so distinctly late 90’s/early 00’s like many of their songs.
