Next to Puzzle, this is my top. An absolute solid track. And whenever I introduce someone to Band-Maid this is the first one I present to them. It's a perfect representation of B-M and their sound. From lyrics, composition, style and arrangement; it's just pure, raw Band-Maid.
They have total control of their music. They write, arrange, and produce their songs. Kanami (lead guitar) is the composer, she sends the basic music to MISA (bass) and Akane (drums) and they create their fills. The complete music then goes to Miku (rhythm guitar, vocals, band Founder) for the lyrics. Saiki (main vocals) works with Miku on the lyrics. Then it's to the studio for final production with Saiki having the "We're Done" call. MISA in a recent interview said that Miku is is their producer. They will be touring the US in October with most venues sold-out.

Yes..buying the Maids CD's etc can be pretty pricey....Especially if you do not buy them when they first come out...But It hasn't stopped me buying all their albums on CD and as many singles I can get my hands on..(missing just 2)...Plus DVD/Blu-rays of concerts....And a nice t-shirt collection!...They are worth it!..They are a very special group of ladies....with a magical aura....The best band I've heard in 30 years...And for some of us they mean more than just the music...They have helped many folks like myself who were struggling with life...(lost my partner to cancer)...These ladies have been the light in my darkness..as for many more...So the price is worth it...So much so..If I can get a VISA sorted ..I am hoping to get to Japan in Jan to see them LIVE...Long May They Reign!.

Which means a trip to the consulate in Edinburgh by appointment to see if I can get one. Think this is my most worrying aspect to the trip. As not sure to book trip then try for VISA..or try for VISA then book trip...Don't have a credit card..so worried if i book and don't get the VISA..then I'll have to cancel and try to get money back..But if not payed for on a credit card..it might get messy..Ho Hum!.
Secret My Lips is forever in my Band Maid Top 5, even above its Maiko incarnation as I appreciate the original’s use of rests that really underscore the hugeness of the composition and melodies.💪🏻🤘🏻

Secret Maiko Lips... Story behind that was simply they did this as an April Fool's joke, telling everyone this was what they were going to do from now on; to their surprise it was very well received, they ended up putting out a Band-Maiko EP.

You are completely wrong about the albums- I just checked. Most Band-Maid albums on Amazon are between £11 and £25. The others are limited editions or rare with bonus DVDs etc.
@@CRAIGREACTS It was all limited run vinyl, so now that it has sold out at the distributor level, you have to pay the crazy aftermarket price. I believe they were $30-40 US on release. The highest priced one I have come across it the limited release (fan club only) of "About Us" on vinyl. I believe it was $10-15 on release, but now is selling for $300-400 on eBay. Glad I got all the BM vinyl on release. Still pricey with the shipping at the time, but I wouldn't be able to afford them now.
