I you picked a combination like that you would end up with a time signature like 45/76 or something(of course not the actually number) I think that if they are doing what you are saying it is a pretty simple combination of time signatures.
i think its 3/4 but the smooth drum edit sound like 4/4. This song is pretty smart. Ofc Plaid did this by intuition but the result is interesting to analyze
