Even when the second vocal harmonies in the second half are the original vocal played backwards and mixed together? Listen to the timing and cadence of the second vocal. After the rhythm breakdown. The fact that it harmonizes perfectly played backwards is a testament to the skill of the original performer. The fact that 4 tet realised this and gave us 20 minutes to hear it and feel the emotional textures and variations I think is an artistic blessing for us all. So many comments here have been of people becoming emotional listening to this. Four tet has given us a way to experience empathy that many people didn't know they could.
