It's a cute little tank. I wouldn't put any fish in it, just shrimp. I am wondering if it really holds 6.5L of water or if they measured the volume of the tank including the filter area.
I've had this tank for over a year and unfortunately the light has broken due to heat i think, and the pump just died yesterday :( Wish it lasted longer, it is a nice little kit but just be aware it didn't last long
Oh that’s strange. They have a warranty to them so I would just take it back to where you got it from and explain what’s happened. The pump should last for years,You just have to keep cleaning the impeller out otherwise it can overheat.

I’d guess it’s total volume.
There’s a few fish that stay smaller than neocaridina but it seems better suited to shrimp 🍤
