Brothers in Arms is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Dire Straits, released on 17 May 1985 through Vertigo Records internationally and Warner Bros. Records in the United States. It was the first album in history to sell over one million copies in CD format
It was the first album certified ten-times platinum in the UK and is the eighth-best-selling album in UK chart history It is certified nine-times platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and is one of the world's best-selling albums, having sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.
This is my attempt at a vocal and guitar cover of this classic track of the same name from the album.
Recorded using Bandicam and Reaper, using only free plugins that come packaged with Reaper, and an external volume pedal.

Wow Chris, this is just wonderful. One of my most favourite tunes given the "England" treament and gee, what a cover you have produced. The backing track sounds perfect and provides a super foundation to build your beautiful guitarwork and vocals over. You've dialled in a real yummy tone too ...... a lovely sound which sits perfectly in the mix.
