This game is incredible. The philosophy of the development team just seemed to be, "Let's make the experience big and insane. Then, we'll make it even more big and insane." Exactly what I want from a Serious Sam game. And that "Burner" raygun... my God! Especially when dual-wielding. This might be my favorite Serious Sam game.
Thank you for watching and sharing 🙏🤘💯 I totally agree with you and sincerely hope Timelock Studios have become honorary members of Croteam after proving their greatness with this release 👏💯 and yes dual burners are GOAT tier 🎉
recently have bought this dlc and I was shocked and clown away by the fact that Siberian Mayhem is the best games since the second encounter and yeah as I have written before under one of your vids Sam 4 is not a bad and is not even a mediocre game, it's extremely underrated
You nailed it. Sam 4 is Completely underrated and Siberian Mayhem even surpassed it in terms of balls to the walls crazy fun🔥👍💯💪 I would be thrilled if SAM5 was a collab between Croteam and Timelock🤯
Love how people pretend that croteam had nothing to do with Siberian mayhem, when croteam wrote the story, created all the new characters and most of the assets for the game were all croteam, all timelock did was the coding for the gameplay, created the UI and designed the maps, but everything in those maps were all croteam, it was a co-developed project, timelock is essentially just the Russian wing of croteam, half the team are former croteam devs and both are 1st party studios for devolver digital now, it's essentially just all one big company now with different teams that work on different projects but they constantly work together, Siberian mayhem wouldn't exist without croteam, it's basically just a stand alone expansion for SS4, they used the same Serious 4 Engine that was used for SS4 and developed by Croteam, Timelock is like Croteams little brother
FIRST THINGS FIRST Mathew, my names Matthew as well so we’re basically brothers so lemme thank you and shoutout you for watching , and especially for that tasty informative paragraph. To be honest I had no idea they were that close with croteam. Makes sense that it was more of a collab than I had originally thought since it’s so well done and stacks up with the big dogs in terms of devs understanding the gameplay dynamics and constantly reinventing , tweaking and improving their own gameplay formula . It’s still kinda noticeable that some new hands were involved in shaping the experience this time around. Classic fun with some modern popular borrowed mechanics and ideas only enhance the fun while constantly surprising me at the same time Id really really love to know what croteam and Timelock are currently working on now that Talos 2 has dropped . Fingers crossed for a SAM5 :TIME TRAVERSIN ENCOUNTER CHRONICLES or something new since with Talos they proved they’re capable of greatness regardless of genre. Thanks again for the comment friend 🙏✅🤘🔥🙏👍
Even as a huge defender of Sam 4, I have to say this expansion was a huge improvement over the fourth game. It took everything great from the base game and cranked it up without compromising the base game’s mechanics and features
So I watched your serious sam 4 video and now this one and I can't wait to play it. I saw it was on sale for 8 bucks in the ps store. Got it amd will be playing it soon. I love serious sam. It's my go to fps game when I need a break from all the jrpgs I love playing
Hey thanks for checking out the videos ! Both games are killer I am excited on your behalf for getting to try Siberian mayhem fresh , you’re gonna love it ! Also it’s one of my go to games when I need that jrpg 100 hour story broken up a bit hahaha we share similar tastes 👌👌👌👌🔥✅
@maltsutty well I only bought the base game. I'll try out siberian mayhem later. Never got to play serious sam 4 on release since I didn't have a ps5 but I got one back in February. Here's to hoping we can get a new game or a remake of serious sam 2 in the style of SS4
Siberian Mayhem was such a wonderful experience. Literally the only thing I don't like about it is the ending, which kinda makes the whole journey pointless story-wise. Everything else is pretty much perfect. That final boss is without question the best fight in the entire series, doubly so considering we didn't get this particular fight in 4.
They had to come up with some way to explain how Brand is still alive despite killing him. It's not a satisfying ending, but there's no real way I can think of to make this make sense without some alternate timeline nonsense.
@@sulphuric_glue4468 Easy. As soon as Brand is beaten, he turns tail and runs away like the coward he is. Sam chases after him and they have their disappointing confrontation in Tunguska.
The problem of syberian mayhem's console version Is that you can not get the Platinum because Is impossible to select a enemy multiplier modification (Is not selectable on console) and all the new PC updates (after the survival mode update) are not available 😭. Still hoping for a retail version to buy because this games are so damn good.
Damn that seems like a huge yet obvious oversight !!! I didn’t even notice since I rarely go out of my way for trophies but still that should definitely be fixed !!🤞🤞🤝 and HELLLL YEAH they really should put out physical copies. I would buy the SS collection and SS4 and even a standalone seperate SIBERIAN MAYHEM. As I grew up in the 90’s it may be obvious but I am a huge advocate for physical media. It’s just feeeeels better having real life hard copies of things. Despite games all getting day 1 updates now I still like the “piece of mind” that comes with buying a disc- knowing I could play a gimped version of a game for if and when game servers go down in the future diminishing the chance of historical preservation or means of re-acquiring a digital game yeeeeears down the road . Wow kinda went off on a tangent there lol sorry for the editorial reply bro. Sincerely appreciate you watching and commenting - your a class act and I’m glad you joined the discussion👏🤝💯🤘💪🙏🙏🔥🔥👍👍
Serious Sam Siberian Mayhem is the what we actually wanted from the base game. Every change is almost perfect. If I were a game journalist I would give solid 9/10. Only thing that I wished from this game was to have connection with lore. Other than it is just perfect. Well I guess I can't get everything that I want.
It's good, but I don't think you can mix and match different weapons with dual weilding like in Sam4, which was the best part of that game, so it's a bit of a downgrade when it comes to dual weilding
If they put 4 and the dlc on a physical copy the dlc will probably still be a download and not on the disc. Also it will probably still need all the patches downloaded. Unfortunately that's what we get these days. COD modern warfare 2 just came with a key on the disc and you had to download the full game.
When I first tried serious Sam 4 was on the Xbox one s and it was an awful port(the have since fixed it i guess) but it was near unplayable, but I’m currently playing through the series so I will soon see if it got better
@@maltsutty well, on PC there was a patch. Introduced NG+ mode. And that's amazing experiense. Starting a new game with all stuff you have after finishing the game.
@@Ikobot. another case of me wishing I got a pc instead of a ps5 😅🤦♂️🤷♂️ ima have to ask croteam on their socials or something if it’s coming to console !
Idk bout yall. But i played 1st and 2nd encounter plus BFE and i didint struggle near as bad in thoes as i did in this one. And i was playing on normal... and still got my but kicked. Yet i can beat 1st, 2nd and bfe on normal no problem. I had fun on syberian mayhem, but there were lots of instances i was like... this is rediculous. (And would just face palm and sigh in frustration after dieing on the same section for like the 6th time) thoes particular sections were not enjoyable for me personaly. And would often shutter when i saw a open feild with ammo scatterd everywhere cause i knew it was about to be another section i was gonna struggle with. And i did... i ended up back peddaling away from the hoard waaaay more than i probaly needed too. But after dieing to the hoard 9-10 times i decided to just... run and space them out with the crossbow, laser and cannon. Which felt like a coward move, but i just wanted to advance the story. (Even if i never could beat the final boss)
Glad to see you enjoyed it!
Bruv it was everything I had hoped for AND MORE !! And shoutout to you for sufficiently getting me hyped to play it. Your video is brilliant 🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏

Shame this is what i wanted the new doom games to be like with the powerful guns
