Trepang2 was not only my favorite game of 2023 but it was also my favorite soundtrack of last year as well right up there with Coffee Talk episode 2 😁😁
Sorry. I disagree with your review, I feel like you missed the point of the game. It's not supposed to feel like FEAR, It's supposed to make you feel like a badass action guy, like you're in a movie. Whenever I play this game, I feel exactly like that. I am immersed in It's amazing atmosphere, soundtrack, storytelling and the NPCs having dialogue and panicking as you kill more and more of them in combat. I feel like you've completely missed the point of the game (I have 800 hours on the game) also would suggest checking out the DLC, the missions are incredible, the new soundtrack is even better and the BAM (Horde mode customiser and NPC creator is an amazing addition for free to the game) In conclusion, Trepang has its own identity and community, it has personality. It has taken inspiration from games such as FEAR but also other genres like DOOM, Half Life, Payday and everything else. It's the perfect blend, the game is like an action movie, similar to hard core henry.

It is a great game , I actually went back on my word and purchased the DLC. It’s pretty damn fun 🙌😅💯
