I used to fish like that every weekend, before I moved to Thailand. Looks like the river Nidd, I went up to Green Hamerton many times in the morning after a night shift working in Shipley. I would stay there for two or three hours, then I would get on my motorbike and go back to Pudsey for a couple of hours kip, They were happy days indeed.
@@tonycamplin8607 As a sponsored angler myself, I completely understand the strategy of using a longer line in this situation-it's likely something I'd do as well. Considering the success of his channel and his proven ability to catch fish, it's clear he's doing just fine without unsolicited advice from Tony the armchair angler. If you're so confident, why not create a video of your own for us to enjoy? I bet you'd be one of those guys who ends up catching F all.
@@dieselpowerdiesel4994 I don't want to show off so I won't I do a film, however I have professional photographic qualifications so can comment on filming. I've been fishing for about 76 years so I think that I'm also qualified to commemt.
That last fish looked like a dace. Great fishing but not filming. The whole time all we saw was a chap standing in the water. You should have been focusing on the float and been following it downstream. Couldn't even really see that white water you were talking about, it needed a close up shot. If you want to publish you really should improve your filming technique. Good luck.
@@marekschmitz8558 He could still improve his technique. If he did what I suggested the video would have been much more interesting, he could have done it all by himself. Thanks for replying.
@@tonycamplin8607 What type of camera equipment do you think he has? Trotting a float down the river and filming it at the same time. Turn it in Tony. Thanks for your reply
@@marekschmitz8558 You don't need complicated equipment a mobile 'phone would do. You could film with one hand and hold the rod with the other, I know that you wouldn't actually be able to fish like this but it would illustrate the technique. Also before he started fishing he could have shown close-ups of the area that he was fishing. This is not criticism, I'm just making suggestions as to how the video could have been improved. I suppose that having been a professional film maker as well as an angler makes me see things differently. Again thanks for taking the time to reply
Perfect baggin, can't beat stick float session lad 🎣🎣🎣

Steven Spielberg over here 😅
I'm guessing his budget doesn't allow for a full film crew..? It's not " A Passion For Angling"
