- We have a special guest today! We are very fortunate when anyone decides to help with some deliveries. We also stretch the JCB telehandler out past it's limits. You have to test boundaries around the farm
That last bale, always the best feeling
It’s a feeling that never gets old for sure
Sarah was the star. And Sam’s plan to put “this hay over there” seems like he should be the man in charge from now on..
We definitely need her back. Sam sees the stack so clearly before it happens. Not everyone has that type of vision
She did great!
It was a great outing
I also like that trough on the elevator.
I would never want to haul small bales again. Thousands and thousands of bales. I make bales big enough I can’t pick up so I have to get a loader
I’m not a huge fan on hauling and stacking either ha but it pays
@@FarmingInsider I hear ya. But may my back would never be the same. Now I just get in the loader and lift it. Is this horse people you sell to? Why couldn’t they handle bigger bales. That is a lot of hay your bringing them.
I stacked hay there a few times when I was a teenager, Shirley Jackson used to own the place
Hey there Jeff, I hope this finds you all well and good!
Was this re-baled hay? That was a big old barn, that I would guess to be about 75 years old. My dad built a big one with a drive in loft, that had 3 holes in the floor to put the hay down to his purebred Herefords below, back in the 50's and 60's and I spent many of hour in that big old loft as a boy in the 60's.
Were those 2 red barns new, they sure did look like it?
Last video you had the crop dusters in, have your meadows began to dry out?
I hope y'all have a good one!
"Nothing Runs Like A Deere" 🦌👍🇺🇸
Tell Sam I learned a new strap trick
I’ll let him know 👍
Hello so just a recap in the third quarter there was an illegal bale pass. There should have been a 15 min set back. Other that great video. Have a good day
I thought I edited that out!
Haha have a good one
@@FarmingInsider lol you 2
Why didn't the people who bought that hay help unload it? I hope you charge extra for stacking!
No bale hooks;) you youngsters like doing stuff the hard way;)
We have some ancient ones I should bring out. Way older than me
New to your channel,,,🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hello from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺
Hello 😊thanks for coming along!
I was watching You Tube and had to tell you that John Deere bought out Grady Twin Pack Balers Looks like big square baler but spits out small squares from two shoots Great capacity You can buy one thorough John Deere now Bale on
I see that! Very exciting things coming down the line
Good video.
Thank you!
That was a good Hay game Y'all!!
Fantastic outing!
What knot strength twine do you use in your small square balers and the the string from the bundlers ever cause it to break?
We use 210, we are gonna bump up to 260 because yes, it does break occasionally
Dad good additive
How much do you charge per small square bail?
All over the place. $5-10 depending on quality
How do you get that pen to stick behind your ear?..😜
Glue lol
Great upload! Dropped a sub 🙏🏻😌😃
Thanks for the sub my man!
Your bale weight is a a lot nicer for handling than what we bale. You’re not going to carry a bale in each hand of what we bale. Not knocking your bale weights. My son insists on a little more weight than what I really like and our customers like them heavier. More hay in a bale.
Our system works for 34 inch bales. We can’t really get anymore weight in a package that size and then we lose bale count in trucks. To each their own for sure. As long as it stays profitable
@@FarmingInsider We’re currently using a New Holland stack wagon and unless our bales are at least 36”, they don’t stack very well.
