I think one of the reasons so many people like your channel is that it's never boring - building, bushcrafting, history, family, camper, basement and so many things. it's good fun.
I dont think there is anything better than wakeing up to a differnt view every morning.and food tastes much better.ive just fin my van two years it took me.(vw crafter)enjoy ya travels mike good luck
Quick cook up i do. Especially at work on my camp stove in my ute outside my office. Take two wraps. Put sliced or grated cheese inside. Fold in half. Butter up a hot pan. Fry on one side till golden or crispy. Flip over. Sprinkle a rub on the fried side and salt. Enjoy. Add more ingredients inside if you want like avocado, tomato , ham and so forth. So quick, easy, cheap and delicious.
Jamás tuve la oportunidad de viajar en uno de éstos. Lo probaré algo así cuando George esté de vuelta. Gracias, por tus vídeos. Y de nada por mis comentarios. Ha sido un placer comprobar tu débil estado emocional. Nice to meet you.
Hello! It's a nice car that looks like a combination of camping and driving! I live in Japan and play with a small car, and it made me happy to know that people all over the world enjoy using cars!❤
This channel has got me interested in campers - not even thought about these before but your camper is ab fab! Also love your videos using your WW2 officers tent. I have one too and it is quite cozy! I suggest you get the fly sheet and ground sheet for this tent - makes a difference and the fly sheet comes with additional poles so it acts as an outside shelter, extending your tent and accomodation
Packet of Alfredo and a tin of tuna makes tuna mornay. I add the tuna when the alfredos halfway cooked sprinkle little bit of cheese when done. Packet of Alfredo and add cooked chicken or steak once Alfredo is done. You have three different dishes. All very simple.
Very fortune man! To be able to do this! One day I hope I can do the same and own a camper maybe not as expensive as a vw but something! Thanks for the content!
‘Oil the steak not the pan’ I only recently learned this and it makes a world of difference regards how much ‘smoke’ is generated whilst cooking a steak indoors. Basically, add oil to the steak (thin film) as a binder, season, then put into a hot pan.
I watched this video before I had breakfast and so I’m off to have a bacon and egg on toast! Yum! Not everyone can afford such a luxurious camper van, but just taking along a cooler and a Colman type stove and experience this! Camping IS freedom! I can’t wait until I finish my Promaster basic camper conversion. Nothing fancy, just a comfortable bed, a good quality cooler and stove and latter! Already have all of that so I’m just missing the bed! You inspire me to go camping! Love from your fellow camping enthusiast from Colorado,USA! Thanxz
That's a pretty sweet Van setup, very clean and functional!!! Also- Cilantro and Coriander are two different parts of the same plant, Cilantro is the leaves and stem parts, and Coriander is the dried seeds, they produce different flavors and are used relatively differently with cooking (and Coriander is also used in some Brewing and Distilling). Not sure if you were using just the leaves/ Cilantro or were also using the seeds/ Coriander ground or whole in the sauce, but it looks tasty. You always cook some awesome looking grub mate! Cheers!
In the UK we don't use 'cilantro' at all, most British people wouldn't even recognise the word. Whenever a recipe calls for it it will be called either 'coriander' (meaning the leaves and stems) or 'coriander seeds'.
Few thoughts for you😊.. 1 might be easier to keep the van warmer if you keep the pop top down if it’s just you sleeping in the van so your heating a smaller space. 2, thermal shock is a thing , so I’d be a little more cautious over putting hot pans and kettles on it straight off the gas burner. 3, fridges work on removing the air, so a full fridge is always more energy efficient, even if you just keep water bottles in it. Otherwise a fun vid’ to watch keep up the good content😊
A great one-pot meal I use when camping (at at home, for that matter) is Zatarain's rice packages, not sure if it's available in UK or not. There are multiple "recipes" to choose from, but I like the Gumbo and add a 1 lb smoked beef sausage sliced into coins while the rice is cooking. One burner, I saucepan, and water. Makes a lot, so be prepared for leftovers!
Only been a few really cold nights and a morning waking up to snow so far, only have van heater and hob for heat, no insulation just need a good sleeping bag, ours is a double that has a rating of -20°c
I do enjoy this content regardless of which channel it's on. The only quick easy car camper recipe I have sounds horrid, but it's tasty (to me anyway) and def filling. SImply get a can of roast beef hash, and two Kraft Mac & Cheese cups. Fry up the hash, cook the mac & cheese according to directions, and mix together with some parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Since Mike's in the UK, you can consider adding HP Sauce to the hash while it's cooking.
Try this it is a one pan dish, one can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup, one can mixed vegetables, one cup water one cup noodles, and one can chicken, bring soup, vegetables, and water to a boil, and then add noodles and chicken until done.
Love the van nice video. Heard some tragic news of a local fisherman left his gas stove on in a bivy to keep warm an was poisoned. Was thinking your channel or graham's could put out some advice to keep warm Safely. Like a flask in a thick sock or something to keep warm It May be a interesting video and may also save some lives 👍
Just the type of video that needs to be watched if you are thinking about buying a camper like this - as well as the lifestyle. No bells and whistles, just real life stuff - love it Mike and thank you. Subscribed!
Mix plain full fat yogurt and sour cream with a crushed garlic bud and you have the mayo type dip for wings or salad . It would have done well in your recipe. Keeps in the frig. For 5ish days. Add salt & pepper to taste and a squeeze of lemon or cider vinegar. You’ll love it. Promise from Canada. No preservatives. ❤
You'll love those K02s, Mike. I have K02s on my wife's Ram 1500 and had the BFG Trail Terrain T/As on my Trail Boss before I sold it. Both are great. The K02s have gotten me down to my lake in a foot of snow. Mind youz mine are 35s, but still...
You have a fine one-person camper van setup. I still would rather keep up with your woodland camps. I would like to see a Christmas camp in the Pallet Wood Palace.
Hi Mike. Just FYI, don't ever leave the night heater on all night. It's not toxic or anything but it is very dry - you'll wake up with a sore throat. I'm just off to check out Life Of Mike 🙂
Your van reminds me of the old VW buses. I love how the stove and sink are pretty much one. You gotta put a very tiny wood burner stove in that would be awesome. You got to do stealth camping in your van!!!! Your content is always awesome
Perhaps you could find a simple type of biscuit recipe to make in the oven? That would give the van incredible aromas the whole night, plus who can go wrong with fresh, hot biscuits? Biscuits and tea are hard to beat on a cold winter morning, no matter which side of 'the pond' you are in. ;) Another great video!
Hi Mike I just started searching to see if you had any videos up and it looks like you had one up five days ago which is this one. I never get notified but that’s OK I sometimes remember to come in and walk and can’t wait to see what’s up. I hope you and your family are doing well and staying safe and that includes your dad and mom❤️🙏
Its only really one step above a tent really, pretty cramped especially for two in that bed! Thanks for showing us the reality of it rather than some of the fairytale van videos on youtube.
Banana pancakes- 1-2 Bananas and 1-2 eggs - Mash the banana & mix together with the egg into a batter (doesn't have to be smooth) then fry in some coconut oil (making sure NOT to heat the coconut oil at a high temp as it burns quickly) add honey and lemon over top once cooked.
I grew up calling it Burger Corn Casserole, but as I got older, I realized it was more commonly known as Shepherd's pie. Let's see yours and or Dustin's version.
Absolutely love your content mate! Your camper van looks so amazing I really want one in the not so distant future as me and the wife would like to go travelling all over the U.K. so I can start my own RUclips channel based on travelling around and flying my drone! I’m about to buy the new Mavic 3 Classic for a treat for myself for Christmas lol! I’ve been saving a while and it’s finally almost time! Have a wonderful Christmas and keep the awesome content coming! 🎉😊
I think one of the reasons so many people like your channel is that it's never boring - building, bushcrafting, history, family, camper, basement and so many things. it's good fun.
Love it Mike! The sound of the inner pop-top rising up was pure ASMR!! Really enjoy these van videos, big thumbs up for more!
Any kind of stew with warmed bread would make a good winter van recipe Mike.
I dont think there is anything better than wakeing up to a differnt view every morning.and food tastes much better.ive just fin my van two years it took me.(vw crafter)enjoy ya travels mike good luck
THE FOOD WAS CAVE MAN STYLE, PERFECT.
Seeing you put the hot kettle on the glass and then shut the other straight onto a hot hob made me shudder 🙂
Great video, thanks.
yes I saw that. Dometic replacement glass tops are known to shatter easily with heat, and cost nearly £200 to replace
tube croissant dough, precooked boneless chicken breast, deli sliced sandwich ha, pre-sliced swiss cheese. roll up bake till brown
Enjoy. Nothing like a night heater love mine in the lorry, cosy warm. Good video as always
Good bit of calm and peaceful content. Thanks!
.
I love these episodes Mike. Keep them coming.

Always a great day when Mike shows up with a new banger video👊
I only have an old 14ft Franklin caravan, but I plan on making it better. This video gives me ideas.
Love the van layout!
I am looking at purchasing a VW Camper soon , so it was good seeing yours for tips
Your videos always put me in such a peaceful mood. Got me looking up camper van prices lol.
I like that seat to bed conversion.
Very fortune man! To be able to do this! One day I hope I can do the same and own a camper maybe not as expensive as a vw but something! Thanks for the content!
Enjoyed yer first night trip in vw ,a we tip is always rember to pull out heat protector on grill.
Been waiting for so long for this kind of video from you Mike. Thanks for the video 👍
O u my gosh this is one of the nicest Van's I've ever seen. Tfs

@@slithery9291 Ah, makes sense.
@@melijahtravelers3832 Yeah pretty interesting, most welcome!
Nice van! Cheers! Much love to you and your Dad
Yes please Christmas camp out in the van. Great video buddy

Yep, cilantro is the greens; corriander is the seeds, on this side of the pond
Love your van Mike and I love your videos. Looking forward to seeing your dad's next video he is also brilliant. Keep up the good work both of you. 😉
Something that I have in my van is a Ridgemonkey flip pan, perfect for breakfast sandwiches.
Try this it is a one pan dish, one can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup, one can mixed vegetables, one cup water one cup noodles, and one can chicken, bring soup, vegetables, and water to a boil, and then add noodles and chicken until done.

WHAT ABOUT AN OVERNIGHT FISHING/CAMPERVAN TRIP WITH YOUR OLD POP'S !! (WHO'S A CLASSIC GUY)
The trick for delicious steak is to cut it against the grain (cutting the muscle fibers into small bits) makes it so much easier to chew. 💖🌞🌵😷

Awesome vehicle!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🪓🔪👍👍

Sunday roast😜👌👍
That is some kind of van
Awesome buddy… loving the dub
Eggs, chorizo, and potato burritos is a good one for camping.
As always another great vid, keep it up Mike
It's good for u to have downtime every so often good to see u enjoying it 🙂
you could add to your camping gear a folding swiss army paring knife. the one i have works great and i have used it to cut red peppers plus a onion
Love your little camper. 👍❤️🙂 I've done a lot of camping in my minivan, nothing like your luxurious little camper but I always have tons of fun.
The van is great 😎👌
You have a fine one-person camper van setup. I still would rather keep up with your woodland camps. I would like to see a Christmas camp in the Pallet Wood Palace.
duuuuude, yer hot! and the guy who fixed yer tyres is too!
Looks fun would bring family and friends.
Great content and great car. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Really interesting love it all Luv from UK 🇬🇧
Fantastic video, I wish we had the VW in the States.
You’re quite an inquisitive, cheeky fellow. 😌
Hi Mike. Just FYI, don't ever leave the night heater on all night. It's not toxic or anything but it is very dry - you'll wake up with a sore throat.

cracking video again mike. bet that VW aint cheap.
Love the van content. Take the van into your woods.
Love this more of these!
Maybe a thin air mattress to go over the seats/bed and have a duvet rather than sleeping bag, would be way more comfortable.
Great video! Merry Christmas!
Really enjoyed that
Ridge monkey make excellent frying pans, nice and compact and great for van life.
Just ordered the back pack!!
I wish they sold the new VW camper vans in the US. My best friend had one ages ago. It was a lot of fun.
Maybe you can do video about treehouses or some shelters🌲🍁
Personally, I enjoy these videos :) Thanks for sharing, pal!
I like it Mike. Thank you. 👍😁👍😁

These videos are great, keep them coming
.
Interested in your roof bars, with you having the pop top, what sort of tunings do you store on the roof ? Could you put a roof box on ?
Your van's looking brilliant. So great you could improve the headlights. 👍
a nice van
Yeah my misses uses that oil and its one way of making yourself depressed lol butter is king 🤴
enjoyed

A grill in a camper van, now you have my attention 😂
I grew up calling it Burger Corn Casserole, but as I got older, I realized it was more commonly known as Shepherd's pie. Let's see yours and or Dustin's version.
im quite new to your channel and i already in love with your videos!
You would love australian nature where i am.

She sure is fancy. 👌
In my experience, the steak is less rubbery if I open a can of beer first 😁
